THIS MEMO MAY EXPOSE OBAMA'S WATERGATE
Front Page Magazine ^ | January 19, 2018 | Daniel Greenfield

The big explosive scandal is the one that hardly anyone talks about.

It's not Russia collusion. It's not even Uranium One. It's the eavesdropping on Trump staffers by Obama staffers. This eavesdropping was partially legitimized by the Steele dossier. It was accidentally uncovered and since then it's cost multiple people their jobs, not the people responsible, but those who learned about it.

Now the reckoning may finally be here. Sara Carter reports.

A review of a classified document outlining what is described as extensive Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act abuse was made available to all House members Thursday and the revelations could lead to the removal of senior officials in the FBI and Department of Justice, several sources with knowledge of the document stated. These sources say the report is “explosive,” stating they would not be surprised if it leads to the end of Robert Mueller’s Special Counsel investigation into President Trump and his associates.

The House Intelligence Committee passed the motion along party lines Thursday to make the classified report alleging extensive ‘FISA Abuse’ related to the controversial dossier available to all House members. The report contains information regarding the dossier that alleges President Trump and members of his team colluded with the Russians in the 2016 presidential election. Some members of the House viewed the document in a secure room Thursday.

That's why #ReleaseTheMemo has begun trending on Twitter.

Even the boy who called wolf found out that there really was a wolf. If what is contained in the four page report is as bad as many Rep congressmen say it is, which is why they are calling for its release, then let's support their efforts to make it public and decide for ourselves if it is a bombshell or not.

The knee-jerk reaction from some FReepers is to dismiss the report and say this is just business as usual, i.e., nothing will come of it. Instead, their focus should be on the substance of the report and what it portends for the country.

If the report is made public, the MSM will not be able to filter it or distract us with other stories. It seems as though the MSM is going into a frenzy covering Flake, the alleged sh*thole remarks, another alleged Trump sex scandal, the budget shutdown, etc. to distract from this story. The Dems are trying to block its release to the public after being unsuccessful in releasing it to all members of the House.

Call his DC office and see if you get the same response. I doubt it. I would let them know that the NPR office doesn’t seem to be aware of the report.

We are in a transition period in information dissemination.

In the past the likes of Dan Rather, Martin Jennings and the Tappers and Scarboroughs of the present could control your news.

The internet now makes that impossible.

The internet has brought about a tidal wave of anger against the corruption in DC and it will only become stronger.

The internet is going to replace our news sources just as the printing press replaced the turkey feather and ink well in the destination of news.

Pandora’s box is not only open, it is upside down.

Those who want to be informed have opportunities never before available.

No matter what the evidence, my money is on nothing happening. Because MSM.

I've been saying for over a decade that this is the source of Democrat power in this nation, and we should be attacking it with garrote wire.

Rep. Matt Gaetz: Our republic is in jeopardy if we allow this type of a palace coup environment to continue to persist and that’s why I’m one of the members of Congress who will be encouraging today Intelligence Chairman Devin Nunes to release the memo. We can have a vote in the Intelligence Committee, a vote in the full House of Representatives. And this is a matter of such importance that I think we need to do it immediately… If we get this memo into the public square heads are going to roll at the FBI and the Department of Justice… What I’m worried about is that the cast of characters in the memo are not a group of people that are gone. Many of these people are still in our government. They still wield influence… It’s easy to see after reading this memo why Senator Grassley and why Senator Graham wanted to refer this matter for criminal prosecution. Laws were broken… I have every confidence after speaking to Paul Ryan and Devin Nunes that after we go through the right procedures and provide notifications to the executive branch that we will release this memo…

But the ranking Democrat on the House Intelligence Committee, Rep. Adam Schiff, D-California, characterized the memo as misleading and inaccurate. The committee, Schiff explained, had voted Thursday along party lines “to grant House Members access to a profoundly misleading set of talking points drafted by Republican staff attacking the FBI and its handling of the investigation.”

“Rife with factual inaccuracies and referencing highly classified materials that most of Republican Intelligence Committee members were forced to acknowledge they had never read, this is meant only to give Republican House members a distorted view of the FBI,” Schiff’s statement said. “This may help carry White House water, but it is a deep disservice to our law enforcement professionals.”

Ding, ding, ding, I think we have a winner.

Many of the various FR Eeyores are just negative, depressed people. I can with great confidence predict this type of thinking & behavior dominates their personal lives as well in terms of family and professional relationships.

Secondly, some are also well entrenched trolls, moles and disruptors. Rather than Debbie downers, they might actually be accomplished as this kind of behavior exhibits a directed approach towards political problems which they are attempting to exacerbate for their own personal advantage. Hey, all's fair in love & war.

If someone says, 'because MSM', the standard reply is 'because Trump'. Consider the USSR only existed 70+ years; our struggle against crime, corruption and treason has been a relatively short 28. Past results are NO guarantee of future events. Patterns emerge over multiple cycles, but each generation is responsible for its own liberty.

We are currently engaged in a (cold) civil war. Victory is a result of the will to win. Don't let lord Haw-Haws achieve the demoralization they so desperately seek.

The staffer should be fired. Is he/she located in DC or in the local office? I can assure you that Bilirakis is aware of the report.

I followed up a call to the DC office. The staffer there was aware of the memo but it is not on Gus' schedule to read it. Doesn't know if the room will be available in the shutdown... The shutdown is an orchestration.

I contributed my 2 cents... whoopie.

The MSM is too busy investigating Trump’s diet to report this.

A very strong indication that it's damning.

No doubt, which is why it must be released to the public circumventing the MSM filter.
