A year after President Donald Trump was sworn into office, he continues to receive historically low and highly partisan approval ratings, despite widely positive views of the economy. He gets at least some credit for the economy, but most Americans don't feel they've personally benefitted from his policies – only 22 percent think they've been directly helped.
Americans overall are feeling upbeat about the economy and the President gets some credit for that. Sixty-seven percent say the economy is very or fair good – a figure that has been at the 60 percent level or higher since Mr. Trump became president. Even half of Democrats give him at least some credit.
But most Americans don't feel they have benefited directly from the president's policies. Feelings on this are largely driven by partisanship. Also, blacks and Hispanics are more likely than whites to say they have been hurt by his policies.
It's largely Democrats who have become more negative about the Trump presidency. Republicans are mostly positive about the president's first year: Eight in 10 Republicans approve of the job Donald Trump is doing and most are just as optimistic with him in office now as they were right before he was sworn in as president. Seven in 10 say he has been a very good or good president.

Don’t believe these Lying Leftist Media outlets that proved themselves during the 2016 campaign to be operatives of the DNC and intentional liars. They are presumed to be lying and we should presume what they publish is a lie. The presumption can only be rebutted with the outlet providing clear and convincing evidence they are not lying.
Why don’t we follow Trump’s lead here on FR? Let’s limit posting headlines from these wretched Lying Leftist outlets. If this story is true and has some redeeming value, at least get the story from a reasonably reliable source, not from a known Lying Leftist operative posing as a “news” organization.

These polls are more of their lousy biased and wrong reporting. We’d all be in the basement with what they are doing to my President. They lie in reporting and they lie with these bogus polls.
I lose my cool when I hear anyone give obama credit for this economy.. NO it didn’t even begin to start in his last year.. NO he did not have anything to do with this recovery.. NO he didn’t want to help our country and our people... he had one thing in mind... make us islamic and make him lord of all! The LORD saved us from these crazies.
Have any of you heard anyone say there are around 5000 indictments waiting in the wings.. for the many who are in this highest (basement) ranking establishment? And I did not hear who is doing this or who it is for. It is being heard among the military. and not sure what sense that makes.

The reason he gets low approval ratings is a direct result of the treason media. We got so many people in this country who think because CNN is on TV, the “news” they push must be 100% legit when in fact it’s a legit as World Weekly news. I believe in the 1st Amendment but I also believe in slander and libel laws, and I think public figures have every right to sue and wish to hell Trump would sue the hell out of CNN. Put them on the stand and let the world see all this evidence of Trump being a “racist”. I ask this of the left all the time, give me one single solitary example of him being racist and they never can. Stating facts is not being racist. Rapists are coming over the border, as are murderers, drug mules, disease carriers, gang members, thieves, pedophiles, the evidence is beyond overwhelming. Haiti IS a sh*thole no thanks to the Clinton foundation stealing their aid money - of course THAT isn’t racist, spitting on black people while they are down, yeah that ain’t racist. No, Hillary wins “most admired” polls all the time. Why? THE MEDIA.
They are trying to give the credit for all that is good and making America great again... to obama.. they are saying it started with him and just now kicking in... it’s another one of their huge lies to tell the public. Remember, there are a lot of people who don’t know they pay taxes when they have a job and get a pay check... They may notice the increase but they’ve been told it came from obama.

3 years from now when everyone finally realizes how much the media was lying to them these first few years and how well they are then off financially because of Trump.
