The article also fails to address the role of the illegal drug culture undermining the family. There is a complex set of forces which creates a culture that abandons the primary structure of society. Drugs are a quest for euphoria that destroys everything in its wake. This epidemic should be fought with all the resources in our reach.

It is time to end the use of our education system as a market place for illegal drugs and a source of girls to use as sexual outlets. It is time for students to see their education as more important than the education on the street that teaches drug marketing.

Is the drug culture undermining the family, or is that where members of fractured families find comfort?

Are you sure you aren’t confusing cause and effect?
