I do not know whether or not President Trump said what Senator Durbin alleges. Certainly the Illinois Democrat has had a flexible relationship with the truth during his long and indistinguished career. It is not unreasonable to doubt his truthfulness.

I do know that CNN “journalists” have written and spoken the “vulgar remark” dozens if not hundreds of times over the last few days while expressing shock and outrage at what may or may not have been President Trump’s single use of it. If there is a “s-hole” of news CNN has definitely earned the title.
