President Donald Trump expressed his skepticism that a DACA deal could be reached with Democrats.
“DACA is probably dead because the Democrats don’t really want it,” Trump wrote on Twitter on Sunday.
He suggested that Democrats were preparing a government shutdown over the issue after they leaked details of a private conversation with them to the media.
“They just want to talk and take desperately needed money away from our Military,” Trump wrote.
On Saturday, he said it was “too bad” that Democrats were not serious about reaching a DACA deal.
“I don’t believe the Democrats really want to see a deal on DACA,” he said. “They are all talk and no action. This is the time but, day by day, they are blowing the one great opportunity they have. Too bad!”

Congressional Democrats have staked out a position of shutting down the government if they do not get a DACA amnesty deal.
Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) was the Obama “executive action” that deferred deportation of illegal aliens placing them in a suspended status awaiting immigration legislation. DACA applied to ‘childhood arrivals‘.
DAPA (Deferred Action for Parents of Americans) applied to their parents and families. DAPA was determined by Federal Courts, including SCOTUS, to be unconstitutional.
A court challenge on DACA would likely find the same legal outcome as DAPA. Unable to defend DACA in court, President Trump gave congress six months to negotiate legislation to address the underlying issue prior to enforcement of existing law (deportation). The Democrat “fix” is to grant immigration amnesty to the DACA recipients.

We asked for damned few conditions so we could help these DACA and this is how they treat their useful constituents as objects?
So be it.
Let the deportations continue.
Or give us the few items we asked , which would be of benefit to future immigrants and cause their countries of origin to make further internal changes benefiting their citizens.

A judge put an injunction in place against Trump’s order to end DACA and Immigration says DACA applications will continue to be accepted.

Trump hoped to put congress in the driver’s seat to debate and resolve the DACA.
I suppose he was trying to set a good example, against legislating by presidential EO, as DACA was conceived and enacted by Obama EO.
Is there some reason Trump can not end it in the same manner??
