NPR Host Compares ICE to Gestapo

Maria Hinojosa, an NPR host who covers Latino issues for the publicly-funded station, compared officers for Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) to agents of the Gestapo, Nazi Germany’s secret police, in an appearance on MSNBC on Friday.

At first criticizing President Trump for his offensive comments about immigrants in the Oval Office on Thursday, Hinojosa pivoted to immigration enforcement as a whole.

“When the president says this, basically, ‘Take them out,’ that is what the community is saying, ‘This is fearful for us. This is the Gestapo on us,'” she told MSNBC’s Ali Velshi. “The troops on the ground of ICE, they’re ready to swing into action.”

Velshi took issue with her comparison of ICE agents to the Gestapo: “I understand the fears that people feel. Of course, I want to separate the idea that ICE agents are like Gestapo.”

Hinojosa interrupted him, standing by her characterization.

IMHO this battle has already been lost - Insane set out to "Fundamentally change this nation" and he had his implants in the education system, news print, radio and TV, and burrowed well into the DEEP STATE in order to advance this beyond any recovery short of Revolution. Talk to the younger generation just coming out of HS or college, many underwater with debt and see how they feel about slowing down legalizing ALL people of the globe no matter how they got here, let alone slamming the borders shut. My generation who believes in the founding of this nation is dying off.

When I had problems in the public schools for teaching the truth, NO ONE would come to my defense even when I told them what was going on. Our man won. He is VERY patriotic and isn’t going anywhere and he is waking up the country with each “outrageous” thing he says that is the truth.

Maybe it’s only fair. I say that everything I hear on NPR sounds like Goebbels rereading a script from “Pravda.” We don’t need Pravda, Goebbels, or NPR. Defend those anti-Americans now.

It’s time to start calling these open border, illegal alien advocates what they are: Traitors. We have to consistently ask them why they hate Americans and make them go on record with their hatred of our country rather than letting them always talk about the stupid Emma Lazarus poem and how letting them all in is an act of love. It’s an act of hatred against citizens. We are not a nation of immigrants, we’re a nation of Citizens. An immigrant who is not a citizen is still a guest and an illegal alien is a criminal.
