No offense meant... I like him... but what did he accomplish in 5 years other than talking at people?

Supposedly they got to him.

He flaps about but doesn’t lay any eggs for breakfast.

He kept Nunes hogtied for almost a year, with that scum Schiff's fake ethics charge.

He and Issa. Same, same. They though we were stupid enough to listen to their talk and not see they didn't do the walk.

I think there is some serious pressure being placed on these RINOs by the Administration and they are now realizing President Trump is much smarter than they so they are having to bail out.

He’s a congressman, not a prosecutor.

Just as much as Lynch and her Justice Department followed up on.

What he accomplished is always in the eye of the beholder, depending on your expectations versus his authority for accomplishing anything.

Many around here thought Trey could jail people even though Eric Holder and Loretta Lynch laughed at congressional referrals for prosecution. LOL!

He never had the unilateral power to do anything so he kept digging up dirt that should have been aggressively addressed

Gowdy is a clown who would shout at people on TV and then do nothing. Remember Bengazi?

The real scandal was that the CIA was funneling weapons from Libya to terrorists in Syria. But Gowdy and the other GOP clowns in Congress ignored that and focussed on trivial nonsense that was transparently political.

Remember what came out in that documentary about the Gang of Eight amnesty push? Rep. Luis Guttierez told the camera that Gowdy was leading the effort to pass an amnesty bill in the House behind the scenes.

Hopefully this fraud retires.

He’s a good man and he’s part of the reason next week will be so interesting.

Far too many people have now seen the evidence and even the redacted evidence is jaw-dropping in consequence. The BIG UGLY has begun; and the presentations by OIG Michael Horowitz have not yet reached sunlight.

@Revel

I have to agree. I myself like Trey quite a lot. But all those hearings produced what? ZERO incitements. ZERO investigations. ZERO fines and prison terms. What’s the frigging point?

“...but what did he accomplish in 5 years other than talking at people?...”

Something that none of us get to do, ever:

Put them under a spotlight, ridicule the crap out of them, expose them for the corrupt fools they are, and then get it out on YouTube for people who weren’t paying attention.

Shining a light is sometimes all one can hope for, and he sure as Hell got no backing from ol’ weeping Boner or gutless Ryan.
