Earlier today, President Trump denied saying that the TPS countries such as Haiti were "sh*tholes".
I knew there were Democrats in the meeting, so I figured they would come forth with their side, and sure enough:

Based on the White House's lack of denial last night and the fact that Trump is not PC, him having said it would not surprise me. I think a different term should have been used if he used it. As I said in depth, there are a lot of countries that are not well off, but we can't take everyone from them.
There were Republicans in the meeting. They will be asked. If they say he said it, it will make it worse than to just admit to it and explain his comments. If they deny he said it, then that's different.
Trump did say on Twitter he should record meetings from now on. Wise strategy whenever a Democrat is involved is to record the meeting. Otherwise, he has to realize that if a Democrat or RINO is in a meeting with him, he should expect it will hit the press - all of it. Speak as though it's all being recorded.

Let’s not forget that Haiti shares an island with the Dominican Republic. A place full of tourists and expats that have money. Whereas, Haiti, is pretty much nothing but savages. DomRep allows the Haitians to come in and work, but they have to leave.

Agreed! Do I wish he had used a different phrase - yes...BUT, the media jumps on every possible minor story in order to avoid covering all of the major ones! Now, all the talking heads (who use language worse than this EVERY SINGLE DAY) will spend the weekend breathlessly reporting on this comment, rather than the elephant in the living room, which is that the Obama administration weaponized the FBI/DOJ to illegally spy on Trump as well as numerous other Americans that it considered “enemies”!
80% of the government doesn’t get shutdown, even when it gets shutdown. No one notices nor cares, except for the workers that get the furlough day(s). I think that would probably qualify them as “non essential personnel”. If so, why do they have a job there, in the first place?

If Trump said such, he should own it. That said, after owning up to such, he should a quiet message to all involved that he will invariably stomp them all of them into a political sh**hole IOU. But yeah, that just me....

The point is that immigration should be based on what immigrants can do for this country and not on rescuing them from countries that are in bad shape.
