The Democrats seem intent on having people and drugs pour into our country from the Southern Border, risking thousands of lives in the process.
It is my duty to protect the lives and safety of all Americans.

Keep saying that, make the dems shut down the government, and then justify why they are so hell bent on kowtowing to illegals, and not interested at all in doing anything positive for American citizens.
Dems are at a huge disadvantage. The optics of fighting for the spawn of illegal invaders is just horrible. How can anyone put the needs of these people ahead of taxpayers and veterans?
All the Democrats want is voters. This is what it’s all about. They want voters so they are Californiaizing the entire nation so they win forever.
I’ve posted for seemingly ever the fact the Democrat party is a minority party. It consists of a base of the best, and richest bullshitters in the World. When they win they win by BS, or out, and out fraud. They have entrenched their people into every segment of our society that involves control over the populace (Deep State) from academia, news media, judicial, and government. We are finding out just how entrenched they are.
They weren’t always this way, but since the far left took over the Democrat party they have become the number one enemy of our nation. We have to treat them as such.
The “immigrants from sh*thole countries” comment is Trump’s WORST comment to date. He needs to remember it was not just border hawks who put him in power, but Christians.
I believe there needs to be a travel ban for terrorist countries and a great WALL but I also believe Trump’s instinct was for reasonable compromise with regard to DACA “dreamers” already here...
Someone is scaring him into believing that only by banning any and all immigration will he win.
Although border security was part of it, it was hardly the MAIN reason why millions of Christians (of all races and ethnicities mind you) voted him into office...we care most about religious freedom, the protection of life, constituionalist judge appointments, etc...
And it is in the Republican Party’s interest to expand our base. And that includes people: Christian, socialy conservative, hard-working citizens who immigrated from 3rd world countries.

Christians come in all stripes in the United States and few are Puritanical any more. The remark was not classy, but remember Donald is a Christian too. He gaffed.
I am starting to believe they are hardover on illegals in order to cover human trafficking. If everyone is documented, out in the open, those out of place will have to be noticed.
Perhaps if I had been in congress for the last thirty years of these and other human abuses I might ‘retire to private life’ as well.

I have heard Christian missionaries who have returned from spreading God’s Word in those countries tell me the places were exactly that in the exact same words.
I bet I can suggest at least one person who wouldn't use those "exact same words"—and maybe He is the example we should try to follow.

Clearly you haven't read any bios on Truman or LBJ, both of which made comments to Senators and Governors that would curl your hair, but no one ever blurted it to the media, and thus it was only "reported" decades later.

Nixon also had a foul mouth. Trump is human...but the timing and context renders the comment in very poor taste...and bodes ill for a party that needs to balance policies of strict immigration with a focus on expanding the base of voters.
