I do not have subscription to WSJ, but first saw the report on Sputnik...https://sputniknews.com/us/201801121060691132-trump-fbi-employees-traitors/

WASHINGTON—President Donald Trump said Thursday that an FBI agent once involved in the special counsel’s Russia probe committed “treason,” and he called for Republican investigators in Congress to conclude their probes swiftly.

WASHINGTON (Sputnik) - US President Donald Trump said in an interview that text messages exchanged between two agents of the Federal Bureau of Investigation involved in the Russia probe were treasonous, US media reported.

In an interview with Trump on Thursday, the Wall Street Journal reported that the president said the messages sent between Agent Peter Strzok and FBI lawyer Lisa Page in the summer of 2016 amounted to treason because they were critical of him.

Strzok was removed from the Special Counsel's investigation when the texts were uncovered and Page only worked for the Special Counsel's office temporarily.

Loud & Clear Revealed: FBI Infiltrated Trump Presidential Campaign Earlier, Politico has cited copies of the Justice Department's documents which detail how two FBI agents, assigned to the Russia probe, were busted for referring to Trump as an “idiot” while the presidential race was still on. The Justice Department turned over the copies of the messages to Congress later.

An estimated 375 texts were handed over, revealing how Strzok and Page had mocked Trump since 2015, according to the Justice Department.

Why Peter Strzok has not been charged with treason is a mystery.

It just goes to show how our US justice system has collapsed.

There has been quite a lot of treason happening in the District of Corruption, but none dare call it that.

Yes, but let’s not leave out Hillary and Huma.

Treason, spying, extortion, subversion, blackmail, embezzlement, and last but not least, murder.

“This is the FBI we’re talking about—that is treason,” the president said.
“That is a treasonous act. What he tweeted to his lover is a treasonous act.”

I heard a reporter on Jake Tapper this afternoon attribute this word, “treasonous”, NOT to President Trump, but to reporters version of what he said.

Tapper ignored her clarification, picked up the story from there, and continued to deride the president for using it.

I see this excerpt from WSJ attributes Trump with using the word, himself, and not to reporters.

Yeah, that's why.

Strzok would not have behaved as he did without an institutional culture and acceptance of same.

The first thing that POTUS should do is direct the Attorney General to direct the Director of the FBI to cancel Strzok’s security clearance. Then reassign him to a desk in Bismark North Dakota. Then, anyone who discusses classified information with Strzok would be committing a crime.

it is treason but this statement below bugs me....

” the Wall Street Journal reported that the president said the messages sent between Agent Peter Strzok and FBI lawyer Lisa Page in the summer of 2016 amounted to treason BECAUSE THEY WERE CRITICAL OF HIM.”

That is bullcrap...he didn’t say it was treason because they were critical. It was because they were doing treasonous things! UGH!!!!

This was a PLOT masterminded by Hillary/Soros and directed by Obama/Jarrett. Multiple people involved, with Lynch and Comey as key operators.

The most shocking aspect in all of this is: 1) Obama's name is RARELY connected with this plot and 2) NO ARRESTS.

Now onto the COUP attempt perpetrated by Mueller & Co. AFTER the election..

We lack two things, an Attorney General, and a President will take the heat for firing our “recused’ Attorney General.
So instead of getting Justice, we will get Propaganda from the Press. It is all on Trump to get things done.
