US troops and their allies will shoot Islamic State in Iraq and Syria (ISIS) militants in the face, beat them to death with shovels or drop bombs on them if they don't surrender, the US military's most senior enlisted member has said.
In an eyebrow-raising set of postings on social media on Tuesday, Command Sergeant Major John Troxell warned that ISIS members who refuse to quit will be dispatched with "extreme prejudice," including via a small shovel known as an entrenching tool.
"If they surrender, we will safeguard them to their detainee facility cell, provide them chow, a cot and due process," Troxell wrote on Facebook.
"HOWEVER, if they choose not to surrender, then we will kill them with extreme prejudice, whether that be through security force assistance, by dropping bombs on them, shooting them in the face, or beating them to death with our entrenching tools," he added.

Love it. Long story but I still have a scar from being walloped by and E-tool. Happy I lived.

Thank you to the Deplorables who elected President Trump!! Thank you President Trump and your ROE; Thank you General Mattis; and a huge thank you to the US military!!
All making America great again!!
Your heart’s in the right place, but that was Admiral Halsey.
Was it a flat smack or a slice?
And it still grates on me that our State Department said they just needed jobs. No, surrender or die is the best offer they should get.
I hope he was shot. They never can be rehabilitated and would only produce more havoc if left alive!
Actually, it was Fleet Admiral William F. Halsey who said that, in answer to some c@ck-jockey reporter's question about how to achieve victory in the Pacific Theater.
Sounds like the General in ww2 who told troops in the Pacific that thier orders were to kill japs, kill japs and kill more japs.

Or General Patton who said “We’ll grease our tank treads with their (German) guts”.
“Shoot them in the face” is a phrase that has been used in Infantry circles at least as far back as the Gulf War. It was a catchphrase of 1st Brigade, 82d ABN DIV Commander COL (later LTG) Jack (Ninja Man) Nix.
Should have been our statement under Obama but he didn’t want to hurt the feelings of his sympatico religionists.
#26. You got that right about Turbin Durbin. My Jewish soldier son helped to liberate 25 million Moslems, Christians and related religious brethren from Saddam the dictator and his raping, murdering sons, yet Durbin called him a “Nazi”.
Well, I call Durbin a traitorous fool and history will see which one of us is right.
Pretty soon ISIS will be WASWAS.
The man is not a Sergeant, he is a Command Sergeant Major, a senior enlisted man in the United States Army, usually with over 25 years of service.
Only a small percentage of soldiers become Sergeants Major, let alone Command Sergeants Major. Of those few, he was selected to advise the senior uniformed officer, the Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff.
Please don’t dismiss him as a “sergeant.”
How mean-spirited./s
Did you do what I did way back in the day? I forgot to tighten down the tool before trying to take a big swing into rocky soil.
Damn that hurt.
But the overwhelming majority of Japanese back then were decent, hard-working people who just wanted to go to heaven and become gods by martyring themselves for the Emperor. That is so racist.
That will depend on what the meaning of was was.
