A Justice Department official demoted late last year for concealing his meetings with the men behind the anti-Trump dossier has been stripped of yet another title, Fox News has learned.
Bruce Ohr is no longer head of the Organized Crime Drug Enforcement Task Forces.
Separately, sources familiar with the discussions tell Fox News that the Justice Department is expected to comply with demands from the House Intelligence Committee to provide Ohr for an interview. He is scheduled to visit the committee on Jan. 17, sources said.
Fox News first reported in December that Ohr had been demoted from the position of associate deputy attorney general, after it was revealed he had conducted undisclosed meetings with dossier author Christopher Steele and Glenn Simpson of Fusion GPS, the opposition research firm that produced the salacious document.
Fox News also reported that his wife Nellie Ohr worked for Fusion GPS, specifically on research related to the dossier.

Thanks Ernest.
I think when he lies about his wife, as he will surely do, he then should indicted and put in jeopardy for 20 years in prison unless he rolls.
WHY IS HE STILL THERE AT ALL?
My call is that both Trump and Sessions are waiting until the IG Report levels the mismanagement, incompetence and corruption these slugs are involved in.
Then they can clean house. Otherwise the Commies in Congress and the Prestitutes would never shut up.
This way, the Independent IG found the problems. Given that most are not appointed positions but rather Employees under union contract there is probably protection from just being fired at will. A report from the IG listing cospiracy and committing felonies is what most would call-and would fall under the term “Just Cause” for termination.
Of course he should be fired. He is still getting the same salary and has an easy work load.
IU’d love to see this seditionist traitor criminal swinging from a rope...after he is convicted, of course.
gwb apparently had many “failures”.
lock him up PING
One word answer. UNIONS
Ohhhhhhh too funny. You beat me to it with that Red Stapler. haa..... mumbling. “I didn’t get a paycheck”...
IRT your 26. We once had a male secretary that management wanted to get rid of. They couldn’t fire him right away because he was union. They stuck him down in a basement room with dirt floors, old filing cabinets, and an old grey style military desk. He made it to work for several more months until they got the paper work in order to fire him.
It would be more helpful to put Ohr on Arkancide watch, in my opinion.
Does Bruce have a boot?
Perhaps, he can carpool with Andy McCabe.
Last paragraph of the article:
Sources close to the attorney general told Fox News that he was recently made aware of Ohr’s role in [stopping prosecutions related to] Project Cassandra and that Sessions is personally involved in the review and frequently asks for updates.
Interesting...
His new job title should be “unemployed” soon to be followed with “inmate”!
Ask Sessions.
See post #36.
It looks like Sessions might be the reason Ohr got booted from this job.
