Obamas criticized for lavish library plans, including 'test kitchen'

In their effort to break the mold, the planners of the Obama Presidential Center in Chicago are taking heat for some less-than-lofty features in the sprawling complex.

Namely, a “test kitchen.”

Reports first surfaced last fall that the monument to the first black president’s legacy was taking on an activity-center vibe. There would be a museum – but also a basketball court, possibly a room for yoga classes, and a test kitchen to teach visitors “about the full production cycle of nutritious food.”

I’ll have to admit to thinking this guy deserves nothing more than a ten stall outhouse, in remembrance. There’d be far less droppings there than in our White House under him.

It would be a real hoot, if some wealthy Conservative were to put up their own Obama library heralding the negative things the man was up to.

Stations where you could see him bowing to other foreign leaders would be a real hoot to see, right next to the Oval Office mock-up with him consulting with members of terrorist organizations.

There’s a lot of fertile ground to this idea.
