Oprah Winfrey has set her sights on the Oval Office. Two of the media mogul's closest friends spoke with CNN after the Golden Globe Awards on Sunday night, and revealed that Oprah is 'actively thinking' about running for president. The idea has been talked about for several months according to these friends, and while Oprah's confidantes are encouraging her to run, the self-made billionaire has yet to make up her mind.

Given enough media covering, Obama’s history has to be lauded in the press if only in order to make headway against Trump. Will that work enough to help an Oprah, meh that’s a Chrystal ball moment in my mind atm.

Now imagine the blank stare on her face when somebody asks her such things. She’s going to imagine it and decline to run. It’s fun imaginatin’ it but it’s terrifying in reality. George Clooney and JFK Jr. teased the same sort of fantasies. But celebrities don't want to be exposed as the vacuous pinheads they know they are.
Oprah could be a formidable opponent. I’m hard-pressed to think of a better option for the democrats at this time.
