LONDON (Reuters) - The author of a book that is highly critical of Donald Trumps first year as U.S. president said his revelations were likely to bring an end to Trumps time in the White House.
Michael Wolff told BBC radio that his conclusion in Fire and Fury: Inside the Trump White House-- that Trump is not fit to do the job -- was becoming a widespread view.
I think one of the interesting effects of the book so far is a very clear emperor-has-no-clothes effect, Wolff said in an interview broadcast on Saturday.
The story that I have told seems to present this presidency in such a way that it says he cant do his job, Wolff said.
Suddenly everywhere people are going oh my God, its true, he has no clothes. Thats the background to the perception and the understanding that will finally end ... this presidency.
Trump has dismissed the book as full of lies. It depicts a chaotic White House, a president who was ill-prepared to win the office in 2016, and Trump aides who scorned his abilities.

So the USA is set up to dissolve peacefully into 50 counties. So I think a Balkan style war is not in the cards.
counties? I meant countries....
>>Trump resigns, Pence becomes president.
Pence appoints Trump as vice president.
Pence resigns, Trump becomes president.
Trump appoints Pence as vice president.
Every liberal head on the planet explodes.<<
That is freaking hilarious!
Anyone who looks like Bannon and believes he has a chance in hell of winning a presidential election in this country is delusional.
A year from now the Dow Jones will be approaching 30,000, GDP growing at 4.5%, and this book selling on Amazon for a penny. Nobody will remember who the hell Michael Wolff is.
Liberals, socialists, and communists minds don't work through reasoning. It's all about feelings - what policies will make them feel good, as in doing anything for good whether it works or not. When it doesn't work, they double down - thinking the next attempt will correct their first failed ideal. California is the perfect example.
“So I think a Balkan style war is not in the cards.”
I bet most Yugoslavians thought that, as well.
If there is to be a break-up, best that it be peaceful.
Yugoslavia is not set up like the USA. We have Governors and state legislatures to step into the federal role almost immediately.
I don’t even think liberals have any feelings of their own—they are sheep, people pleasers, constantly looking for which bandwagon to jump on in order to be “in.” Incapable of an original, logical thought.
You’d be surprised how state borders can become irrelevant when the blood is up.
All marketing.
Wolff looks like a bad imitation of Ernst Blofeld.
I don’t what you mean? You give people what they want, freedom from DC, why would the fight?
What a great comparison! Spot on.
What a maroon...
“You give people what they want, freedom from DC, why would the fight?”
Surely you don’t think the left would sit back and let its targets (i.e., anyone who does not follow the lefties and their agenda) escape their clutches unscathed? The left are all about control over others, it is their raison d’ etre. The left will instigate a fight, bet on it.
Ok, state X secedes. Who fights them?
It's the mad panic of the delusional when Truth blasts through their delusions!
It's always fascinating to watch. The delusional become increasingly insane, as their clutch on their delusions weakens and the delusions fail. Their hysterical pandemonium can be amusing--even funny--but it also tends to get dangerous. People will KILL to protect their delusions.
This butt wipe should be reduced to being an organ grinders monkey
