Michael Wolffs new book, Fire and Fury: Inside the Trump White House flew off bookshelves early Friday morning despite efforts by President Donald Trumps legal team to stop the publication and distribution of the book. The book soared to #1 on Amazon.coms bestseller list just hours after the UK Guardian scooped the world by publishing details from a print version of the book that had been delivered to a book store in New England.
The book purports to quote Breitbart News executive chairman Steve Bannon, a senior White House adviser at the time, who allegedly criticized a meeting that Donald Trump, Jr. and campaign officials had with a Russian lawyer in July 2016 in the hope of gaining opposition research on Hillary Clinton: Even if you thought that this was not treasonous, or unpatriotic, or bad shit, and I happen to think its all of that, you should have called the FBI immediately.
Charles Harder, a private attorney for President Trump, sent Wolff and his publisher, Henry Holt and Co., a cease-and-desist letter on Thursday demanding a full retraction and apology, according to USA Today.

Maybe the website is wrong, these look like verified purchases. Then again, verified Amazon purchases for hardbacks probably shouldn’t have reviews on the same day the book is mailed out.
Meh ... let them have their fun. It’ll die down soon enough.
The author himself as much as stated that the book is a fabrication. Shouldn’t that be enough to stop everyone from buying it ? Or put it on the $1.99 table at Sam’s Club ?
Exactly...let the media chum this water for awhile, at the same time illegals are being deported, Clinton Foundation is investigated and aid is cut to Pakistan, etc.
Is the book kept in the Fiction Section?
Many books that contain garbage become best sellers. The Democrats who want to believe anything nasty about Trump, will buy the book.
Other Trump haters will buy the book so they can revel in their hate and fantasize to their heart's content.
But the book will take its place in the trash bin of history as yet another example of yellow journalism and fake news.
The author is shielding himself from future defamation of character lawsuits by admitting that it is garbage that caters to Trump haters. Rachel Maddow knows all about that!
Prelude to a libel suit.
If the book was pre-ordered, the buyers received the HC book a day or two ago...then there’s kindle.
Is the book on audible?
Maybe the book is large print double spaced. Easy quick read LOL
Well, it’s probably “Harry Potter” for the #NeverTrumpers so maybe.
The review I was looking at said “hardcopy” in any event.
Amazon blocked my review...
That’s good. Liberals spending their money on trash. I think the POTUS deliberately hyped the book which is now admittedly filled with lies.
I am laughing all day about it. I wonder if the MSM media is so happy now that they look so silly.
Have they never put two facts together? How could man who is stupid - or how could a man who is unfit - become such a successful businessman? They should be so dumb!!! HaHa
Im not reading crap from Breitbart until they get Rid of Bannon.
That's what i think. In the end I bet this book makes trump look better. And in the process they expose just how much the leftist press loves to report on nothing but gossip.
Supermarkets should keep copies of the book in the toilet paper aisle.
His next book (if he does one) will make him a rich man. Sales for this book probably doesn’t give him any money except for the first check he received.....UNLESS he put a percentage per book sold clause in the contract.....If he did, then he probably will make a pretty penny. It’s the next book that will give him a payday.
Let the book drive them into a frenzy as President Trump continues to MAGA. Like one of our regular posters (LS) likes to say..."Cheese in the maze."
As the lies in the book become exposed, the anti-Trumpers are going to get pushed further out on the fringe.
Did you ever think you’d see a day when Conservative Treehouse, Jake Tapper, and Dinesh D’Souza all agreed?
