Interior rescinds climate, conservation policies because they’re ‘inconsistent’ with Trump’s goals

The Interior Department’s number-two official issued a secretarial order just before Christmas rescinding several climate change and conservation policies issued under the Obama administration, saying they were “inconsistent” with President Trump’s quest for energy independence.

Secretarial Order 3360, signed Dec. 22 by Interior Deputy Secretary David Bernhardt, wipes away four separate directives and policy manuals aimed at showing departmental employees how to minimize the environmental impact of activities on federal land and in federal waters, and calls for the review of a fifth one that applies to the National Petroleum Reserve-Alaska. Instead, it directs officials to reinstate and update guidance issued during the final year of George W. Bush’s second term by Jan. 22.

The Interior Department aims to mitigate any negative environmental impacts in ways that are consistent with federal law, transparent and “are consistent with direction provided by Congress and provide a level of certainty to all involved parties,” the order states.

The Interior Department has also invited public comment on the mitigation policy adopted by the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service in November 2016, which says the agency will “at minimum” require “no net loss” of habitat when approving regulated activities.

Obama’s goals were motivated by Agenda 21; Trump’s by MAGA.

Labeling a policy as a “conservation policy” doesn’t make it one.

Refusing to allow clearing of diseased and or fallen trees has been labeled “conservation”.

It isn’t.
It’s a fire hazard.

Mostly true, but that was not the way it was rationalized for public consumption by the useful idiots of the MSM and the LIV voters. For that you needed "climate concerns," "conservation," "sustainability," and "social justice."

Although federal oversight of environmental issues is arguably a good idea, it remains that the states have never expressly constitutionally delegated such powers to the feds.
"From the accepted doctrine that the United States is a government of delegated powers, it follows that those not expressly granted, or reasonably to be implied from such as are conferred, are reserved to the states, or to the people. To forestall any suggestion to the contrary, the Tenth Amendment was adopted. The same proposition, otherwise stated, is that powers not granted are prohibited [emphasis added].” —United States v. Butler, 1936.

The feds are therefore prohibited from regulating environmental issues.

And even if the states had expressly constitutionally delegated such powers to the feds, it remains that the Constitution makes Congress, with the president’s signature, not non-elected federal bureaucrats, fully responsible for the use of such powers.

The only way to make the corrupt Congress left over from the lawless Obama Administration take responsibility for its constitutionally limited powers is this. Patriots need to finish the job that they started when they elected Trump president in 2016.

More specifically, it’s entirely up to patriots to clean up Congress by now making sure that there are plenty of Trump-supporting patriot candidates on 2018 primary ballots, and pink-slip career lawmakers by sending patriot candidate lawmakers to DC on election day.

And to make voter efforts in cleaning up Congress, along with Trump’s vision for MAGA, as permanent as possible, patriots also now need to be working with their state lawmakers to support Trump in leading the states to repeal the 16th and 17th Amendments.

But until 17th Amendment is repealed, as evidenced by concerns about the integrity of Alabama's special Senate election, patriot candidates need to win elections by a large enough margin to compensate for possible deep state ballot box fraud and associated MSM scare tactics.
