Steve Bannon has unified the Republican Party against Steve Bannon.
And President Donald Trump stands to benefit most from his former chief strategist's comeuppance.
Without Bannon barking in his ear and nipping at the heels of Republican senators it will be easier for Trump to deliver on the remainder of a legislative agenda that threatens to strain his base over issues such as federal spending, government wiretaps and immigration.
Similarly, a weakened Bannon figures to have less firepower to challenge sitting Republican senators and imperil Trump's GOP majority in this year's midterm elections.

Really
I doubt that
Tell me you’re not relying on Ben Shapiro for anything other than pimping Michelle Fields ST
That’s all I’d use him for
Freepers are extremely disloyal bunch...not you
Threw Bannon under the bus quick
Notice to Freepers
Javanka won.
Bannon thinks he will win a presidential election?
I support Bannon but he lost the Javanka war
Bannon is a stalwart of social conservatism and traditional nationalism
Both of which I support
Immigration the past 40 years has altered us irreparably and Bannon understood that
Javanka do not
Republicans since the first Bush have supported the illegal invasion... it might surprise you that so do most religious denominations... we the taxpayers pay so called 'faith' based charities billions of dollars for their human trafficking.
IF Bannon is the source for this 'book', he won nothing, as he will have discredited anything he stood for.
Perhaps he did, but I recall nothing from Bannon demanding lying Ryan to end the funding of 'faith' based charities... in human trafficking.
He supported the Strange one before he was left with a pragmatic choice...
I was banned here with Matt bracken for opposing Bush amnesty and Tony Snows support of it here in 2005 for 20 months
You can google it
I’d say I’m well versed in the subject
Michael Wolff is a lib hack that even some in the media are leery of
posters here should read more before condemning Bannon based on Wolff
Sad fact majority of Freepers are lemmmgs .....
If Strange had won the Primary, we would have TWO GOP Senators from Alabama today.
Everyone went after Strange, but even being a RINO he Voted for the Trump Agenda every time. He didn’t run away from President Trump like many of his former esteemed Colleagues.
People here were upset with President Trump when he endorsed Strange in the Primary (including me), but President Trump went with his guy. He was right and many of us were wrong.
I also remember the W Bush call to fund ‘faith’ based charities has turned into the vehicle that some religious denominations are kept flush with taxpayer cash, trafficking illegal and obama’s DACCA children.
It was at the first Trump rally in Arizona, dedicated to families who had lost a loved one, slain by obama’s illegals, I became a Trump supporter.
Now Bannon may very well be what you write..I never heard of him until last year. So for the time being I am digesting the flurry of media reports.
I do not rely on Shapiro for anything, even though I read some are enamored with his talk.
‘Bannon is a stalwart of social conservatism’
Consider doing some research into the lengths Bannon went to in order to recruit and promote Milo Yiannopoulus. Yiannopoulus is flaming gay, no other way to put it. Bannon ‘made him a star.’ If homosexualality is part of social conservatism then your statement is true. Otherwise, more research is in order.
