Many years ago I wanted to contribute to a cause that would help others. I was nowhere near as savvy politically as I am today. The UW had a drive where I worked and I started having $4 deducted per paycheck. Each year I increased the amount by one dollar. The year it reached $8 U stumbled across the list of things my money was going to support. Thats when the donations stopped.
My funds were going to support things I would never have supported on my own. That told me that this organization had its priorities screwed up, at least to my way of thinking.

United Way is a scam not a charity.

I wish I was a contributor so I could halt the contributions, but I did that years ago when United Way started supporting the insane idea of allowing queer boy scout masters into the boy scouts...

Lemme guess....The Salvation Army is now too “Christian” for them.

Christian Salvation Army should have NO relationship with uber-liberal United Way.

Always donate directly to SA. United Way is a fraudulent unnecessary enterprise on life support of corporations, government entities, and other organizations that pressure their employees to contribute their "Fair Share." BS. Any charity that suits your fancy will be glad to accept donations directly. Cut out the middleman.
