Too bad.
And if she doesn’t run, who should the Republicans run instead...or do they just not field an opponent?
As I said above, I’d give ex-Gov. Tim Pawlenty a shot.
She turned out to be Swiss citizen when running for US president. Lame family excuse, dropped out with embarrassment, plus zero sopport anyway.
So much for his binders full of women.
Why mull? Just do.
Until the picture of her eating a corn dog surfaces.
Has McConnell approved?
The guy Franken beat....Coleman
sorry...I really got to read through the whole thread.
YESSSSSSSSSSS
Franken: "I'll gladly resign next Tuesday if you'll let me grope you today."
Pawlenty makes sense.
Nice, I’d love to see Bachmann winning..
Highly unlikely unless Tina Smith turns out to be a complete disaster.
GOP in MN has to strategize running for TWO senate seats next fall, the 6 year seat vs. the relatively popular Klubacher and the remaining 2 years on Franken’s seat now held by Planned Parenthood exec Smith. With the statehouse also on the ballot (will Dayton run again?) Rats (spelled DFL in MN) will try to run all three based on Klubacher’s skirts. GOP needs to maximize anti-Franken, anti-rich jerk Dayton vote. It doesn’t need candidates with significant pre-existing negatives to distract from the DFL negatives. Someone newer Bachmann can happily endorse and for whom she’d actively campaign but without the personal baggage she’s accumulated. We don’t need a HR hitter here. I’d like doubles but would take a solid back bench single’s hitter who’d accept Trump’s agenda when the alternative is a senator literally from Planned Parenthood. The goal is 60, or as close to it as possible. Franken’s seat wasn’t in play until he put it there, giving the GOP a chance to redeem the AL loss before 2020. Don’t botch the chance. Doubt Dayton’s negatives will be enough to bring down Klubacher, but if they could that would be an unexpected bonus.
Klobuchar can’t attract a significant opponent and Tina Smith doesn’t have the negatives most incumbents would have. I don’t see either one as a GOP pickup. Not with the available candidates.
Franken didn’t beat Coleman.
Soross directed ‘recounts’ beat Coleman.
No. She didn’t.
Please come back, Michele!
