Not a chance: once safely protected the DACA recipients will join the Democrat base with few exceptions.
If they get amnesty, Trump and the GOP are finished. And so is the country.
No, they don’t care about citizenship, and in many cases are still voting for liberals.

He promised they would be gone on day one, and that Mexico would fund the wall, and yet here we are.

Yes they do. The 80’s Amnesty under President Reagan was suppose to be the last and funding for a border fence. Democrats never provided the funding. Now we are back in the same spot.
If DACA individuals turn out to be activists for La Raza, they need to be deported.
I second Qiviut’s though process. I think Trump is seizing the political football of DACA from the hands of the Dems, who wanted to do some broken-field running against the GOP in the 2018 midterms. I don’t get the sense he is caving on DACA at all, but trying to back Dems into a corner. They don’t want to solve this issue - it’s one of their prime political talking points in the midterms.
Democrats do not want solutions to problems. That is what he means.

Welcome to think of it, a lot of people are getting through that program the who don’t belong in it. Maybe an individual judge basis would weed out a lot of people that the Democrats want to stay.
