White House staffers have voiced their concerns that it will prevent them from communicating with their families.
Chief of Staff John Kelly said the order is meant to help free up connections to White House servers, and is not in response to government leaks to the media.
The White House considered banning cell phones back in November, citing cyber-security concerns.

Many o those who worked for corporations or industrial factories before the days of cell phones were not allowed to make personal calls during work hours. Seriously?
Then stay home.
I remember when people came to work and actually worked. Phone calls were for emergencies only.
Nowadays, where ever one looks at workers, 90% of them are on their cell phones... chatting, texting away.
