Donald Trump gathered his social and political clan around him at his opulent Mar-a-Lago club in Florida to welcome in the New Year in classic Trumpian style. This wasn't referencing his family heritage.
This was an attempt to smear anyone who would associate with him. Anyone associating with him "should be seen as" like-minded, obviously racists by calculated intimation.
I get the "c" "clan" vs the "k" "klan", but the intent is clear, and the harsher "klan" was the attempted linkage > IMO.
Heck, more than half the brain dead readers of this wouldn't know how to spell the correct form of "Klan" here anyway.
Clan is Klan to them.

The elite of the MSM were treated like royalty by ZerO. Now not at all. Propagandists do not rate being invited to White House parties now, unless the event is specifically for the media and then they loudly decline.
