The Douglas County Sheriff's Office (DCSO) in Colorado says "multiple deputies are down" and a code red alert has been issued amid an "active" situation south of Denver.
The DCSO says citizens should avoid the area, while residents should shelter in place and avoid windows and exterior walls.

They do the same thing with fires, car wrecks, rescues, most any call here in the mountains. If extras are available they go to the scene to assist.

No, I'm just tired of cops murdering unarmed American citizens to the point that when cops start getting killed, I can't help but wonder who they pissed off.
It's sad. I used to give law enforcement the benefit of doubt. I don't anymore.

People can assume guilt whenever they please, but that has no bearing on anything, and that includes even Hillary.
I never assume anything about a criminal case unless I sit on the jury. That’s because if I don’t sit on the jury I don’t have enough information to assume anything. I also don’t assume anything prior to charges being filed as that would be a very stupid thing to do, imo.

I’m the same. I’m a guy who just recently retired from 25 years in the US Army with what I consider an impressive resume. And I once looked up to our cops as real hero’s.
I once gave them all the benefit of the doubt, a story comes out painting something bad and I always said there has to be more to it...
Then I wised up and at some point in my late adulthood I actually started paying attention. It really opened my eyes and truly shocked me.
Now I treat all cops the same way I treated the indigenous populations of Iraq and Afghanistan... I avoided them unless pressed to contact. Then I stayed in condition orange.
