Huckabee: People 'Are Going to Lose Patience' With Jeff Sessions
Fox News Insider ^ | December 30, 2017

Posted on 12/31/2017 6:06:48 AM PST by SMGFan

Former Arkansas Gov. Mike Huckabee (R) said "we are all going to lose patience with the attorney general" over his perceived apprehension to prosecute people like Lois Lerner and Peter Strzok.

"I love Jeff Sessions. I think he is a great guy, but he has got to do the job he is there to do," Huckabee said. He said Sessions, a former Alabama senator, must "enforce the law... universally. Without regard to who the person is."

Huckabee said Sessions may be holding off on prosecuting Lerner, the former IRS employee allegedly implicated in the conservative nonprofit targeting scandal, or Strzok, the FBI agent who sent anti-Trump texts to his mistress, because he does not want to be perceived of "partisanship." "[But] this isn't about partisanship, this is about justice," Huckabee said. "This is a dangerous place," he said of allegations against Strzok and Lerner. "This is the kind of thing you see in totalitarian countries where the power of the government is used to step on your political enemies."

>> NO! A thousand times NO!<<

There are at least a half dozen excellent candidates for that job but Trey Gowdy certainly isn’t one of them. Am I wrong, or would Nunes be a good candidate? How about Tom Fitton? One thing’s for sure, Sessions has betrayed the POTUS and is causing him great damage. And Trump is losing my respect more everyday that he does not get rid of him.

>>Makes no difference if the President and AG are playing 3D chess. Keeping stuff secret going into the 2018 will cost the GOP seats in Congress, and could guaranty impeachment of the President.<<

You have perfectly described what should be absolutely clear to everyone who is paying attention. I am repulsed just looking at that creep.

>> It all really falls back on Trump. His presidential personnel management has been a disaster. I think, though, he wants it this way. He gets to live in the everyday drama, tweet about, and avoid responsibility.<<

That’s a pretty harsh assessment, but something is sure as hell wrong, and whatever it is our country is going to suffer some nasty consequences if Trump doesn’t get his sh*t together and replace Sessions.

>>Sessions needs to rescind his recusal or resign.<<

Sessions needs to be FIRED, it should have been done months ago, and our country is going to suffer some bad consequences because he wasn’t.

Your post succinctly states everything that needs to be said about the Sessions tragedy.

Nothing at all wrong with Rudy except that he doesn’t want the job.

You don’t want anyone from Congress, they are used to doing nothing and receiving a paycheck, as well as no consequences for mistakes and incompetence.

Choose someone with ambition from the private sector.

The U.S. Senate is like a very exclusive men’s club. If you have never been to one of these places, mouse around a little and learn. See the Knickerbocher, the Union, etc. Then apply what you learn to the Senate, but multiply it times 10.

These guys are useless pukes who care much much more about how they are perceived by the other members than what they actually accomplish. Every now and then some hayseed gets in, or in the case of Roy Moore, tries to get it, and they slam the doors shut on him like he was a white redneck showing up to the board of directors of Black Lives Matter.

They should start by term limiting the Senate to 12 years.

No, not at all. That’s what a hero worshipper would say. I voted for him, support him but don’t drool over the man. Thus far he has done good things and I take exception with two of them. His decision to not overturn DACA day one and to not fire or press his AG for prosecutions. Each time these obvious things are pointed out the.mn out comes the excuse factory fully tying the pretzels tight.

He has his faults like any good man and President and when he’s wrong he’s wrong. I make it about principles and positions not about the person. I don’t see rainbows and unicorns when he speaks and stars in his eyes. I don’t lash out an and say you never Trumper, you anti this if someone disagrees, that again is hero worshiper.

‘after the slobbering worship love affair with our President’

The above is a disgusting piece of garbage. It’s as bad or worse than anything I’ve seen from a Never-Trumper. It isn’t remotely accurate, and only a Trump-hater would imagine that it is.

‘I don’t lash out’

Fail. The nastiest, most vicious and inaccurate libel the Never-Trumpers came up with was to accuse Christians of worshipping Trump. Most Never-Trumpers—especially on FR—have gotten past that slimiest and most hateful of all attacks, but you’re still at it. It’s nauseating

You may have run off the last guy with one week ban with the labels but your “fantasy writing” won’t work on me. Don’t get upset. I certainly understand the worship. I did as well with Mike Tyson when I was a teenager.

How exactly did I run anybody off? Please be specific.

Anyone who construes support for Trump as worship hates Trump and/or hates his supporters. There is no second option.

this perchance needs a keyword (sealedindictments?).

i did a google search and found this

https://www.snopes.com/sealed-indictment-president-trump/

FACT CHECK: Has a ‘Sealed Indictment’ Been Issued Against President Trump?

The sourcing of a story reporting a sealed indictment has been issued against the president is too vague to corroborate.

https://www.snopes.com/sealed-indictment-president-trump/
Claim: A sealed indictment has been granted against President Donald Trump.
Claimed by: Patribotics
Fact check by Snopes.com: UNPROVEN
