AS long as we’ve got Collins, Murkowski, Graham, and McCain we DON’T have our 50 votes for Constitutional governance.

I thought it impossible for Freepers to not realize this. President Trump asked AL to vote for Moore because he NEEDED that vote to further his agenda. That is as rubber-to-the-road as it gets. Down to every last vote on every issue these days. AL voters who voted for Trump just gave him the middle finger salute. Fickle, unthinking, unserious votes.

Sick, sick, sick.

All I care about is the judiciary. And all those mentioned have been pretty good at voting to approve. All the stuff that they vote against is usually a spending bill....that is the last thing we need.

Why did President Trump originally endorse Luther Strange over Roy Moore?

I'll tell you why: Because he knew damn well that Roy Moore would have been an obstructionist pain in the ass who would have refused to support Trump's agenda in Washington unless it was 100% in compliance with Moore's view of a what a Constitutional government should stand for.

I still wonder if Moore would have even bothered to move to Washington and show up for Senate votes if he had won, or if he would have been absent for 99% of the votes that came up during his term.
