Somewhat true. I don’t have the numbers in front me, but I think there were enough write in votes that, IF they were all people that wanted to vote for Moore but didn’t because of the allegations, then that’s enough to swing the election. However, broadly, it’s true that half a million Trump voters sat home. I knew when I saw the polls after those allegations that he was doomed. It didn’t matter if he was innocent - the mere allegations damned him.

“.. It didn’t matter if he was innocent ...”

It should.

Our system is “Innocent Until Proven Guilty in a Court of Law”.

Alred and her Bimbos just walk away scott-free and fade into the background, Mission Accomplished.

They should be sued for every cent they have into financial ruin if it wasn’t true.

Trump faced virtually the same allegations that Moore did, even to the point of Gloria Allred's daughter, attorney Lisa Bloom, fielding charges that Trump raped a 13-year old girl. Yet, Donald Trump still managed to earn 1.3 million votes in Alabama.

Alabamans just didn't like Roy Moore. They didn't like him the two times he ran for Governor and was thoroughly trounced and even in 2012 when he was elected judge, he barely squeaked past the finish line receiving 400,000 fewer votes than Mitt Romney.
