"When asked about the video in which she is seen smacking a man named George Harris on the behind Villa claimed that she had apologized. She also claimed they were old friends and it was a joke, but Harris told ABC News he had just met Villa that day and it was not consensual."

I suppose a criminal case can still go forward. What will hurt her now though is if she claimed Harris was an old friend it might hurt her credibility because he said he only met her on that particular day.
So far as I can tell, it doesn’t appear so.
Cory Lewandowski has not even said he did it so perhaps he didn’t.
Yeah, good luck with that.
A man learns to deal with this at an early age. A man would look rather foolish trying to file a criminal complaint because he was patted on the behind or if he was clumsily asked out on a date by somebody he doesn't like. Men learn to handle themselves (and no, it does not need to involve fisticuffs).
So if women really want to be treated as delicate creatures, who need protection from the law for every possible offense, than perhaps those women ought to just stay at home. They can live under the protection of their parents until they are properly married off. Then they can focus on being docile housewives and they will have a man to take care of them. They will never have to leave their safe spaces.
Again, I'm not talking about all women. Just those who are delicate little flowers.
F’ing lying cow.
This is the half of it. Career-spiral losers finally cherishing their chasteness (lost 30 years ago behind a hedge at school) and destroying men’s lives with it.
This bush-pig runs for anything as a Republican, she’s got to be quickly choused back to the root-snout pasture.
She has no career in politics as a Republican now.
Well done. Thanks.
One day, you are talking to someone, and you tell them what they are saying is absurd, so they get mad and slap you in the face. Ok, that's a battery and worthy of the attention of the police.
But come on, it happens at many parties when men and women are drinking that eventually someone gets patted or smacked on the butt. It't boorish, and unwanted, but trust me on this, the police hate these calls, and District Attorney's aren't too enthusiastic about trying these cases.
LOL- I was thinking about that before I posted a different comment. Not all butt slaps are equal.
As a side note, haven’t the daily major headlines of sexual accusations suddenly come to a complete stop since Judge Moore was defeated in the election? Some people said that was the purpose,,,sacrifice some actors/journalists to bring Moore down.
I don’t watch the news on TV, so maybe the accusations are still going on.
It does seem to have slowed a bit.
So, she’s using the Franken Defense?
Of course.
Funny (not funny) how Democrats are always just joking when they do or say something illegal or offensive.
She was pro-Trump when it was a photo-op for attention.
It’s what the C and D-List people do.
She can pursue all she wants. Each case is separate action. However, it will eat into her credibility.
Who is Joy Villa? On second thought, who cares?
“...I think of a man...and then I remove all reason and accountability.”
And then add an element of vindictiveness.
I don’t want to paint with a broad brush, and I’ve spent the vast majority of my life to this point believing women are more virtuous than men, but I’ve seen some awful things in the past few years and now just think of us all as very flawed.
I first saw this video and posted a link to it here.

I am not sure but he may have been the first to make it available to the public.
As of today Twitter has once again suspended his account.
Now those pictures of Joy are downright interesting!
