‘Trump, Trump, Trump’ — the new racist chant against Latinos

There is a new form of hate speech that white people use to poke at Latinos. It goes like this:

“Trump! Trump! Trump!”

As President Trump concludes his first year in office, his “street cred” as a bully, demagogue and racist is well established. And Latinos — especially Mexicans and Mexican-Americans — are his favorite pinata.

After the election, the Southern Poverty Law Center published a report called “The Trump Effect: The Impact of the 2016 Election on Our Nation’s Schools.” After surveying more than 10,000 teachers, it found an increase in incidents involving such racist symbols as swastikas and Confederate flags. There were also multiple references to immigrants.

I live on the Central Coast of California. In our local schools it is against dress code rules for kids to wear blue or red. That's because they would get killed. Not by Trump supporters but by gang members. These gang members are Latino. They kill Latinos. In Salinas, California this year there will be 40 murders all Latinos killing other Latinos. Nothing to do with Trump or his supporters.

Lol...my Latina wife was first to switch to Trump from creeperz Ted Cruz. I switched not too long after. Many of our Latino friends are liberal but many more than before are now Trump supporters. It’s impressive, really.
