A wildlife specialist I know says that the best thing that could happen to beavers is that their fur and skin come back into style.
Right now they are trying to relocate beavers instead of killing them, but they have to at times, for there are way too many.
I noticed someone wearing a Persian Lamb stole last week, so perhaps fur will make a comeback.

Like white tail deer, Canadian geese, Black vultures and dandelions, beavers are learning to adapt to living among humans. Don't leave out the wild turkeys they have become a scourge where I live.

Why, yes. According to her recent Twitter spat with President Donald J. Trump, she believes in SCIENCE. Science update. Temperatures at the Arctic are far below 0 degrees Celsius (32 degrees Fahrenheit). Far below. And even with many degrees of warming don't approach levels near that, which is the temperature to melt ice into liquid water. That is SCIENCE. "Arctic Warming" is not "Arctic melting". No, coastlines will not be inundated with increased water levels, because ice is staying as ice. Some glaciers recede, others grow. Overall, water levels stay the same. If mountains of sediment fall into the oceans, or land masses sink, well yeah, water levels will be affected. But forget about so-called global warming, it ain't happening.
