A guest on MSNBCs Morning Joe oddly declared Friday that she is worried President Trump may try to invalidate the 2018 midterm elections to avoid a Democratic Congress --- something the President cant actually do.
Regular co-hosts Joe Scarborough and Mika Brzezinski were absent, but Republican pollster and Washington Examiner columnist Kristen Soltis Anderson more than made up for the extreme anti-Trump rhetoric that MSNBC viewers have come to expect from the liberal morning show.
Soltis Anderson said she is worried that if Republicans face large losses in 2018, President Trump will fear having a Democratic Congress that may begin to pursue impeachment proceedings and the result will be an attempt to question the validity of elections, period.
The bizarre theory demonstrates the paranoia that is often depicted on liberal networks and the statement is even stranger because it was uttered by a Republican.
She admitted that her theory isnt likely but compared the scenario to what has occurred during the aftermath of a special election in Alabama. Doug Jones became the first Democrat in 25 years to be confirmed as the winner of a Senate seat in the state, but his opponent hasnt conceded and even filed a lawsuit urging officials to delay certification because of systematic election fraud.

While a federal agency is trying to overthrow a president, leftists wring their hands over manufactured threats to democracy. Could the world be any more insane?
These people are so stupid they make Dumb and Dumber look like a pair of geniuses...................
Another stupid woman doing what she shouldn’t and not doing what she should, like a fish out of water. What a waste.
These propagandist azzholes should be shut down. It’s just gotten so ridiculous with their lies designed to stir the left up all the time.
Watched some creepy video last night (Alex Jones - first time I’ve watched one) in which the host said talk like this (e.g., invalidate the election) which implies dictatorial take over etc. is an attempt to whip up the Democrats to fear a dictatorship so much that they justify violence to throw him out of office. There might be something to it; in the last few days I’ve been seeing articles saying Trump is driving a coup which of course made no sense. I assumed they were tacitly admitting that the deep state has been running the country and Trump is threatening their rule. But I am beginning to see it as an attempt to create enough fear that lethal means of removing him are justified. I believe the deep state is getting scared and posing him as a terrifying dictator is in the works - trying to get or prime the unhinged to do something violent re the white house.
Yeah, well, many on this forum thought Obummer would invalidate the 2016 Presidential elections, so I suppose paranoia cuts both ways.
When they worry about it from the right, theyre telegraphing their intentions.
screw ball.
will be a long year for her if she worries about this much.
I’ve no doubt the radical left are trying to keep Dems stirred up with fear mongering, it’s crazy but par for them.
Trump will teleport the MSNBC headquarters to Somalia, but he couldn’t.
Why would Trump invalidate a big Republican victory?
Morning Joe is meaningless. They are just the equivalent of the two minute hate described in 1984. It is pablum for the effete.
Yep, I don’t think Soltis is the brightest bulb in the fixture if that’s really how she said it.
Morning Joke. (Not auto correct)
No MSNBC, Trump will declare you invalid and kill your pets.
You will soon find yourself in the Gulag forced to understand science without toilet paper.
Idiots.
I remember similar fears aired here in regards to Odumbo.
The first echo is heard. This is the new propaganda strategy.
They are simply laying the foundation for an excuse for why they will have lost, just as they did when they opened the Russia investigation.
