I’m sure they undersampled pubs as usual, so add 8 point fudge factor.

This is a test. I don’t know what is happening with my post/pings.

There used to be an option “mark pings as read.”

But I can’t find this any more and my messages are growing out of bounds.

So every time I hear a leftist say that Trump’s approval is in the mid thirties, (I heard it 20 times in the past 7 days) they are making fake statements and really talking about Hillary’s approval at 37%? Right?

I run across a lot of people even on our side who are skeptical their paychecks will fatten in Feb with the RATS’ non-stop attack on the tax bill.

And after being pummeled by the media for the past 18 months for being (at best) a moron for supporting Trump, how many LIV’s do you think will confess to a pollster that they’re on the Trump train?

Add 20 to any poll, no one called me, ready for the 2020 landslide God willing, I’ll be 78.

For comparison, Ronald Reagan was in the 46-47% range at this point in his presidency (Dec 1981). Bear in mind that he got a huge bump after the failed assassination attempt on him earlier that year. By the two year mark of his presidency, Reagan was down to 35% approval. See Chart Here.

Of course, we all know that Reagan went from there to win re-election in a landslide.

So for Trump to be at 46% at this point (essentially tied with where Reagan was at this point) is pretty astonishing considering the constant beating that Trump has been getting in the mainstream media.

It’s a shame to realize that 53% of the American voting public are a$$holes.

Of the many polls out there, Rasmussen has been fairly accurate IMO. Not too long ago they had Trump in the high 30’s so you would have to say that there is a shift underway in favor of the Donald. As the economy starts to roar his approval number may mirror the Gippers in the 80’s. Reagan shot up from some dismal numbers in his first 18 months as his tax cut took hold. He won every State but one in 1984 and was extremely popular. His tax cuts brought about 8%+ GDP growth and brought increased revenue to the government. Of course the left will never admit the facts from the early to mid 80’s.

99% had an opinion...that seems almost a record by itself.
So as someone else aptly noted, they probably oversampled dems.

Whether the poll is accurate or not, Trump would benefit from becoming a better communicator — combining Ronald Reagan’ ability to project a vision with his own mastery of technology and ability to figh back.

“I run across a lot of people even on our side who are skeptical their paychecks will fatten in Feb with the RATS’ non-stop attack on the tax bill.”

Trump’s presidency reminds me of the Get Smart wedding (when Max marries 99). Everyone knew it would be a messy event, and it was, as they trashed the place fighting KAOS agents and had to walk over their bodies on the way to the alter. But they do make it, and do get married, even after all that crap.

I sense that coming in Feb. when the IRS tries to set the withholding tables and the Dems fight it out in court to prevent them from taking hold.

This will be fun to watch!

Go, Donald!

What he has overcome so far (including many poor initial appointments) is amazing. That he got the corporate tax cut down to size should be huge for delivering on the economy.

But I’ll judge his second year and indeed his first term primarily on how he handles illegal immigration.
