Guess who Marie Harf credits with the virtual defeat of ISIS?

U.S. military officials on Tuesday revealed that ISIS has lost 98 percent of the territory it once held, and since President Trump took office, half of its so-called “caliphate” has been captured.

You can thank the Obama administration for that, says Marie Harf, now a political commentator for Fox News. Here she is on “The Five” to explain.

Marie Harf: "The strategy that has led to a virtual defeat of ISIS in the caliphate…is largely a strategy that was laid out during the #Obama administration by military commanders." #TheFive https://t.co/2xXlJTjp08 pic.twitter.com/mr5DZMmCdL

So, is this one of those deals like crediting the uptick in the stock market with policies Barack Obama put in place?

Fox News reports:

The massive gains come after years of “onerous” rules, when critics say the Obama administration “micromanaged” the war and shunned a more intensive air strategy that could have ended the conflict much sooner.

“The rules of engagement under the Obama administration were onerous. I mean what are we doing having individual target determination being conducted in the White House, which in some cases adds weeks and weeks,” said retired Air Force Lt. Gen. David Deptula, the former head of U.S. Air Force intelligence. “The limitations that were put on actually resulted in greater civilian casualties.”

Isn’t Harf the one who inspired the #JobsForISIS hashtag back in 2015, suggesting that a lack of job opportunities is what led young men to join ISIS?

Or it was because Trump said to kill them with relentless force.

Absolutely correct.

It was Obama's Rules of Engagement that allowed ISIS to grow.

Strategic patience, my a$$.

The clearest example of Obama’s idiotic rules of engagement was when the drivers of ISIS oil tanker trucks were given warnings of impending air attacks, and the opportunity to escape.

Harf the one who said all the terrorists needed were jobs. They had jobs: raping, pillaging, and killing.

Actually, she’s telling the truth, but it was a strategy 0bama discarded his entire time in office.

I doubt the brass had the nerve to present a winning stategy to the bogus POTUS lest they be purged as some were.

It is amazing. The default fallback, the fundamental foundation of every single liberal ever known to man, is that PID (Poverty, Ignorance, and Disease) are responsible for every ill experienced by mankind.

Eradicating those things will magically remove everything bad. So that is how they justify everything they do, no matter how stupid, ignorant, useless, wasteful, or harmful it may be.

They refuse to acknowledge that evil exists, and it isn’t just because Poverty, Ignorance, or Disease MADE them be evil.

Or, to quote a Clint Eastwood character (I think): “Some people just need killin’...”

Bingo.

Similarly the term "Non-denial denial" was in vogue for a time during and following Watergate; Saying something that sounds like you are saying something else.

The only way Obama contributed to the defeat of ISIS was through their demoralization when he left office.

She’s right. Zero did nothing, thereby encouraging the Russians to do most of the heavy lifting - not being bound by Zero’s unworkable ROEs. DJT came along and finished the job, other than the possible reports that our guys are training the ISIS leftovers to form another ISIS like group ...

For some reason Fox seems to think having the dueling banjos segments offers something to the effect of fair and balanced. Since they got rid of that slogan, why the hell do they keep propagating the illusion?

I thought Tucker’s show might have been interesting with Mark Stein but then they saddled him with that useless, totally disingenuous, walking talking point Goodstein and I switched it to College Football.

Maybe they should all take a hint from Lou Dobbs show and get rid of the dueling banjo twits.
