My primary complaint about TV coverage of college football is that so many of the game announcers are just plain awful.

so many of the game announcers are just plain awful. Agreed. None of today's announcers have any originality and I keep hearing the same phrases over and over.. "as you can see he's got all the tools."

In particular, that woman play-by-play announcer on ESPN!

sound off. even when I fast forward i can read the box on the screen, down and yardage etc. You can re-run with sound when and if you want to.
I tape most games I want to watch and watch them in less than an hour.

That is part of the problem with football and sports in general. We see a play and fully understand what has happened, then the commentators have to tell us what we just observed.
It is offensive. No pun intended.
