I need one or those!
My FL do has a “V” on it.
Good move, I got my VA medical ID card in 2014 when I first applied for healthcare.
Is this actually a ‘new’ Veterans ID? I’ve had a Veterans picture ID for several years now.
My military family says you don’t need one if you have a veterans hospital ID or retired military ID card. It’s for those that don’t have any VA ID card of any type. Lot’s of state DL’s have “Veteran” somewhere on it.
What about Veterans who have never been in Idaho?
My card has an expiration date. Soylent Green time ?
I don’t see where it states one way or the other that this ID is good for airline travel.
My state is not in TSA compliance in its drivers license as valid ID for travel, and is on, I think, it’s last extension.
Maybe Pres. Trump can get this mandate adiosed or do we want it in place ?
Doesn’t Lowe’s give a 10% discount with proof of veteran status?
Ping.
When I renewed my state of Maryland driver’s license this summer, they asked if I was a veteran, because Maryland has begun to show veteran status on one’s drivers license. I showed them my retired ID card and they checked the block. They also said that a DD214 is valid proof of veteran status (snide comment suppressed).
Thanks for posting that!
I applied for one. After a couple of months, I got an email that I needed to fax a copy of my DD-214 and my driver’s license. I did. Another month goes by, and they tell me i have to provide an electronic signature. I said the hell with it.
Thanks for posting Lib !

Me too
I’m just going to stick with my DD-2 retired ID card. I don’t need another form of ID and besides, I have no interaction with the VA.
Bttt.
