An attorney and private school teacher from Washington, DC, is accusing United Airlines of removing her from her first-class seat only to give the seat to Rep. Sheila Jackson Lee (D-TX).

Airline staff told Simon the seat was taken and gave her a $500 voucher, along with another ticket for the same flight in Economy Plus.

We, the people, need to cut these govt ***holes down to size. Not just the despicable Sheila J/L....but the whole frickin cartload of the SOB’s.
Cut their office budgets....cut their staff size....cut off their perks and privileges....etc etc etc.
In Congress, they lead lives of leisure, their every whim financed by our tax dollars.
Like their lords or kings in a monarchy.......helping themselves to the tax dollars they force on the citizenry they treat as peons.This has got to stop.
I would have hoped she’d open her yap on my plane. She would have been kicked off pronto (pronto - Texas talk).

Southwest is my favorite of the bunch. That does not “fix” TSA.
It has been a long time since I flew any airline. My wife won’t get on a commercial or private plane. I have no fear of flying, but total contempt for the gate keepers who make life miserable.
That’s (soon to be retiring) Rep Ted Poe (R-TX) sitting next to Sheila.
Poe confirmed that this ‘upgrade’ FRAUD is a common trick, for the Sheilawitch.
Knowing this, I wish Poe would of offered HIS seat the bumped passenger. THAT would’ve made a YUGE statement.
On another note...we fly United, when visiting family. I’ve noticed that most EVERY flight attendant is black female, these days. New hiring requirement by the new CEO?
Elected Democrats (and others, including their leftist media) carry on about their dedication to "Public Service".
As if they were sent here to sacrifice their personal lives to serve America and the citizens of their cities, states and the USA itself.
In their rhetoric they elevate themselves to the level of Cardinals and Bishops, if not the Pope and Savior himself.
But what "Public Service" really means to them is that they expect to be serviced by the public as America's Royalty.
They clearly demonstrate their views that the public was sent here to serve them and provide for them.
And yet some among us refuse to recognize their exhalted atus and, ingrates that we are, have the temerity to question them about their dedication, motivation and good works.
Be kind to animals in Congress.

I can’t do it personally only the captain but I sure do recommend at times. I have to stay on the flight deck if the captain isn’t. Some of these people do need their comeuppance, that’s fer sure. Untied does have a PR problem but they shrug it off as they’re too big to fail.
