Top House Republicans aren't giving up on Obamacare repeal next year, even though Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell said he's ready to move on.
McConnell told NPR on Thursday that he thinks the Senate will move on to other issues instead of trying for repeal and replace in 2018. But several top conservatives in the House made it clear they wouldn't mind taking another shot.
I still think there is enough bandwidth on the House side to get it done, said Rep. Mark Walker, R-N.C., leader of the 170-member conservative Republican Study Committee.
The House was able to pass its own Obamacare repeal and replace bill in May, but the Senate couldnt pass its own version in late July.

Yup, there’s a lot of people stuck in the middle depending on the State they live in. We’re in Missouri and they didn’t do the “enhanced medicaid/medicaire” thing. We make too much for free health insurance and paid insurance was either $11k deductible or cost 80% of our income. Stupid crazy.
But not enough in the Senate.
You still have the individual premium subsidies, the payments to the insurance companies, the Medicaid expansion, the taxes that pay for it all. All the repeal of the individual mandate does is ensure that most of those costs will go up.
Mitch wants Trump impeached and to get there, he needs the democrats to win the House.
IMO, a majority of the 62 +++ million who voted for Trump would like to see McConnell out of his ‘leadership seat-—& probably out of the Senate completely.
Suppose there is any sex scandal that he is guilty of???
I still want to see the entire list of all the payments made out of the Congress Office for sex scandals-—who got paid — How much — Who was the perp???
Infrastructure will require 60 votes I think as I don't see how that is possible as a reconciliation amendment.
GOPe = globalist sellouts....
McConnell and this internationalist team of New World Order Republicrats would rather lose control of the Senate to global socialist Democrats than to Conservative Republicans...
McConnell is personally responsible for the lose of Judge Roy Moore.....
.....And, the Alabama Senate seat to a liberal Democrat....
......GOPe=DNCe
The "individual mandate" required you to have an Obamacare-compliant plan. If you are no longer required to buy an Obamacare-compliant plan, then companies can offer other plans. Meanwhile, the prices of Obamacare plans will continue to rise until nobody buys them.
Wait a year, and Obamacare will die by itself.
The big thing about Obamacare was coverage of "pre-existing conditions". This was mainly for the benefit of the "gay community", for which HIV treatment is a very expensive, lifetime cost. It is the gay community which will fight most savagely for the continuation of Obamacare.
