If anybody feared that the upcoming Chappaquiddick movie would be a whitewash of Ted Kennedy, the recently released trailer should disabuse them of that notion. Legal Insurrection describes the movie as the "portrait of a weasel." Kate Erbland of IndieWire reviewed it as a Compelling Teddy Kennedy Biopic That Pulls No Punches.

How did this get released? How could Hollywood produce this? My guess is that it’s Harvey Weinstein’s Doomsday Machine, programmed to go off automatically if anything ever happened to him.

During the overnight lessening his alcohol content and having the lawyers figure out how to extricate him, I do believe they were trying to figure out which underling could take the fall. I don’t remember it being a cousin. There were too many people who knew he was there though.
Disgusting how he was publicly at breakfast early at the hotel, acting like everything was fine, smiling and enjoying his breakfast.
There is no other Ted Kennedy to reveal.
And Unsavory is a huge understatement. The man was downright depraved. And the country is still paying for many of his dubious legislative achievements.
But he was a double-major at Harvard - booze and broads!
He was definitely the least of the Kennedy brothers... I will say this. Living under the legacy of having his two elder brothers assassinated was too much for him. But what he did as a Senator and the wake of other human wreckage he left behind, Mary Jo Kopechne being the worst of it, is unforgivable.
Years ago, weren’t there rumors Mary Jo was pregnant? Did he leave her to get rid of her?
Huh? So who was? Mary Jo? He still should not have abandoned her to suffocate.

I don’t think it “reveals” is the right word, the word should be “retells”, because everyone knew he was a piece of dung from the beginning.
Remember he woke up his nephew Michael Smith on Good Friday to get drunk, and Smith was arrested for rape soon after.
Teddy was a dark force of destruction. Nothing good came from him.
This movie should have been done in the 80’s, but no one dared.
The old man pushed Joe, Joe pushed Jack, Jack pushed Bobby, Bobby pushed Ted, and Ted fell on his ass. The hapless loser of the family, thrown out of Harvard for cheating, and would have been a bartender in Boston except for his family.
