If anybody feared that the upcoming Chappaquiddick movie would be a whitewash of Ted Kennedy, the recently released trailer should disabuse them of that notion. Legal Insurrection describes the movie as the "portrait of a weasel." Kate Erbland of IndieWire reviewed it as a Compelling Teddy Kennedy Biopic That Pulls No Punches.

Your friend who has a friend who is related to somebody who has a friend that has connections to someone on the margins of whatever is left of the Kennedys, sounds like an unimpeachable source. He may very well be right about Teddy not running for President again. I will remember that I read it here first. Thanks.
Looks so proud with that smile....the best of taxpayer funded medical care. Nice to see he’s assuring America his career is not over./sarc
Excellent.
MOST excellent!
Why does the drawing show car upside down; but the photo shows it right side UP as it’s being pulled from the water?
This fact is rarely remembered but is probably, in retrospect, the most destructive part of Teddys legacy.
But remember, 76 Senators and 318 congressmen voted for the bill, so there is a lot of blame to go around.
Rosa DeLauro looks like the bastard offspring of Satan, Savonarola, Adolf Hitler, and Josef Stalin.
I have to differ. He worked quite hard to get out of that submerged car and walk all the way back to the party.
I just checked out the trailer. The actor who plays Kennedy is a dead ringer.
To title: What? You mean, Teddy was unsavory?! I never knew! GASP! (defib paddles) DOUBLE GASP! (adrenaline and defibs again). My world is shattered. (depression medications)/YOU KNOW DAMN WELL THAT THIS IS SARCASM.
I can’t believe how disgusting LIFE was to allow that on their cover.
eye opening
It was before he became the grotesquely immense, Vladimir Harkonnen looking, bag of pus that he would eventually become.
He could not have repeated the incident later in life.
I heard the exact same thing from a friend of mine who is second-cousins with a guy who used to sell coffee to the mother-in-law of the best friend of the shoe salesman of a former gardener at the Kennedy Compound in Hyannis Port...
follow from: So, the other version says the two went off to "park" intending to come back later. They pulled off on a secluded road. The sherrif said that he saw a car that matched that description and approached but the car peeled off.?
He was going to the beach, and he needed to cross the wooden bridge. Clearly he was drunk and went off the bridge. There is only one thing on the other side of this bridge, the beach. At night he wasn't going there for a sun tan, he was clearly taking this young woman there for romance.
Okay. What’s your point?
After reviewing the various documentaries on Chappaquiddick, it seems clear to me that Kennedy was not driving the car. Forensic and diving accident data, shows that a man of Kennedy’s size could not possibly have crawled out of a window or even opened the door of a vehicle submerged and upside down.
Also, when appeared the next day at the hotel, he was happy and rather care free until he was approached by two of his friends/staffers who broke the news to him.
The movie therefore, has the theory that Kennedy drove the car.
Still, it sounds like they painted the man as the scoundrel he was to all of us here.
I will have to watch this when it comes to pay-per-view. It sounds like it will make people (liberals) begin to think about their political royalty.
I watched Dunkirk last night and while it’s a really boring movie, it was eye opening. It occurred to me that the movie was perfect viewing for people (liberals) intent on bailing out Europe. It should make them think twice at least.
