FORT BRAGG, N.C. (AP) — “Storm clouds are gathering” over the Korean Peninsula, Defense Secretary Jim Mattis declared Friday. And as diplomats try to resolve the nuclear standoff, he told soldiers that the U.S. military must do its part by being ready for war.
Without forecasting a conflict, Mattis emphasized that diplomacy stands the best chance of preventing a war if America’s words are backed up by strong and prepared armed forces.
“My fine young soldiers, the only way our diplomats can speak with authority and be believed is if you’re ready to go,” Mattis told several dozen soldiers and airmen at the 82nd Airborne Division’s Hall of Heroes, his last stop on a two-day pre-holiday tour of bases to greet troops.

I read an article about cutting off the head of the snake in a fiercely quick way that could reduce casualties overall tremendously.
It was in reputable paper. I pray it’s true.
We were supposed to see an epic battle of Saddam’s 4 THOUSAND tanks against ours.
That didn’t pan out so well for Saddam.

My hat is off to you if you only need two cups. I need at least three! And then one at about 1000. And if my wife
does not catch me, one about 1400 or 1500.
Doc told me too much caffeine isn't good for my irregular heartbeat (I have an early beat which makes me a prime candidate for a stroke or heart attack.)
Try as I might, I can't get below three cups. Been trying to get down to two for several months now. I think this is my one vice or "addiction." I don't drink, smoke or do illegal drugs. If this is the worst I do, so be it I guess.

After living off coffee from working the midnight shift for many years, I stopped drinking it when I retired for some unknown reason.
Then I busted out my Mr Coffee and started drinking one cup a day. Then I read an article on FreeRepublic about how coffee makes you live forever so now I'm up to two cups a day.
In fact I just put on a pot of the nectar of the gods.
I also started drinking Silk Almond milk cause my hindu doctor told me to stop drinking milk.
I know. I'm so gay.
