For years, a clandestine U.S. intelligence team had tracked a man they knew was high in the leadership of al Qaeda an operative some believed had a hand in plotting the gruesome 2009 suicide attack in Afghanistan that killed seven CIA officers.
Their pursuit was personal, and by early 2014 the agency had the target under tight drone surveillance. We literally had a bead on this guys head and just needed authorization from Washington to pull the trigger, said the source.
Then something unexpected happened. While agents waited for the green light, the al Qaeda operatives name, as well as information about the CIAs classified surveillance and plan to kill him in Pakistan, suddenly appeared in the U.S. press.
Abdullah al-Shami, it turned out, was an American citizen, and President Obama and his national security advisers were torn over whether the benefits of killing him would outweigh the political and civil liberties backlash that was sure to follow.
In interviews with several current and former officials, the al-Shami case was cited as an example of what critics say was the Obama White Houses troublesome tendency to mishandle some of the nations most delicate intelligence especially regarding the Middle East by leaking classified information in an attempt to sway public opinion on sensitive matters.
By the end of Mr. Obamas second term, according to sources who spoke anonymously with The Washington Times, the practices of leaking, ignoring and twisting intelligence for political gain were ingrained in the administration's national security policy. presidential election last year.
On repeated occasions during the Obama era, high-level sources and some lawmakers lamented to The Washington Times, the presidents inner circle ignored classified briefings and twisted intelligence to fit political goals.

We need to investigate the depth of valjars anti-american devious works.
I want to read an article about how Obama hanged himself with prison bed sheets.
One can only guess how many spies Hussein installed in every branch of the bureaucracy. How many judges are working for bo, how many spies have the deep cover in the NSA, DHS, and the CIA? MHO can possibly get to the bottom of the damage he has done. How many security secrets were sold and gifted to our enemies?
I still can’t believe people are talking like it was an accident. ISIS absolutely flourished under Buttcrack Hussein, to the point that fears of them taking over countries was seriously talked about. Then when Trump came in, they’re instantly on the run and getting hammered everywhere. There’s nothing accidental or coincidental about it. Radical islam never had a friend like Obozo, who was knocking off middle eastern governments for them.
There’s a touch of sympathy in your explaining obama’s life. I don’t have sympathy for the man who turned every opportunity he had or could have had, into anger and hate. That was his own doing. Many have risen from the ashes of a lot of things and did not turn out like he did.
It was the color of his skin and the crease in his pants that got him elected. He got a pass for entering college because of who he was... he got many passes .. he got into the wrong crowd of influence... he never changed even when he was the President of the United States, with the most power in the world at his bidding.. he squandered it.. he was so hell bent on making himself look good he didn’t know how to make any decisions that were correct. He was led in his mind on “what does this do to me/ for me”.
And he spied on Trump as if he had to to protect himself and his lying legacy.. it’s being shredded and I’d bet he’s not pleased. Also, there is a charm that he and bill clinton (and John Kennedy) had that endeared them to the public... the public that could be fooled by that charm.. which was the hook that saw them through even the worst things they did. They seemed to get by with things others did not, thus that charm was the danger most did not see. That “charm” was sickening and the first thing that should catch the eye of the beholder.
When I see Clarence Thomas, and so many other strong men of color on Fox... they aren’t ashamed of who they are. We do with adversity what we decide to... it doesn’t have to end up with the narcissist outgo obama has to live with. He had it all and he didn’t do well with it.. it was a miserable 8 years and we are not out of it yet.. he spread anger and hatred in his race and encouraged riots .. he could have been a good influence and his legacy would have been different... as it is.... he didn’t help the black race with the good he could have done... he just spread strife and anger!
Do not be fooled. I have great sympathy for the child Barack Obama. NONE for the adult even college age Obama who was making his own choices, and chose dead wrong. And the holes in his heart led him to trade his soul for power, which hurt all Americans. Definitely zero sympathy for zero, once he turned 18. Malignant narcissism is extremely dangerous. He was bait for the stupid race obsessed Americans bait used by our enemies to trick us. He loved being the bait because he got the power and mass adoration he craved. Bad bad deal for the American people.
Well, most of us did guess that Obama had the sort of character to be doing such things, which is why each day that he held office was shrouded by a dark cloud. I know that personally it put me in a depression of sorts. I am glad that it’s coming into the light, but I doubt anything will be done about it. Too afraid to open up that can of worms.
Well said and his conduit to the black population who bought into all the racism was none other than Al “the race baiter” Sharpton who went to the White House up to a hundred times to get commiserate with the Lyin Chief.
This country won’t be healed until
1) The 10s of millions of illegals are expelled, and
2) The Obama perfidy and treason and falsehood even of his basic narrative are all revealed.
Those two pieces will lead to a reconciliation among Americans as there is a great return to constitutional principles in our government and unified community in our society.
