The United Nations general assembly has delivered a stinging rebuke to Donald Trump, voting by a huge majority to reject his unilateral recognition of Jerusalem as Israels capital.
The vote came after a redoubling of threats by Nikki Haley, the US ambassador to the UN, who said that Washington would remember which countries disrespected America by voting against it.
Despite the warning, 128 members voted on Thursday in favour of the resolution supporting the long-standing international consensus that the status of Jerusalem which is claimed as a capital by both Israel and the Palestinians can only be settled as an agreed final issue in a peace deal.
Although largely symbolic, the vote in emergency session of the world body had been the focus of days of furious diplomacy by both the Trump administration and Israel, including Trumps threat to cut US funding to countries that did not back the US recognition.

I reject their rejection. FU UN.
I am anxiously looking forward to President Trumps response. He would not have made the statement he made the other day if he were not ready to back it up. The lamentations from the UN will be fun to watch. Popcorn anyone?
“News”? The UN General Assembly has been voting against Israel for, what, the last 40 years? Might as well call them Anti-Semites, Not Anonymous.
When government takes less of our money we can decide who we want to help and be charitable.
Cut off all US aid to the EU and kick the UN out of NYC.
Send the UN packing to Brussels, Paris or Beijing. Then stop attending and ignore any demands for money from them. Don't quit (announce that we're out), just quit!
“he United Nations general assembly has delivered a stinging rebuke to Donald Trump”
LOL!
They can go collective fUNck themselves.
Hey UN -
the age of Obama is over.
America doesn’t take orders from anyone anymore.
That’s good for a start. Close bases in Germany and Britain and if Brexit ever happens Britain will need a trade partner...I am sure we could find a more hospitable “partner” elsewhere.
I suspect President Trump made the threat for the express purpose of cutting off their funding and saving American money. They played right into his hands.
The United Nations is ripe for the Antichrist. How Resolution 181 passed is nothing short of a miracle from God. Divine Intervention, IMHO.
In the early 2000’s, brother Dave Hunt (RIP) noted that about 1/3 of the U.N.’s actions were against Israel.
Suffice to say, this is no surprise.
Zechariah 12:1-3 - Jerusalem is the Burdensome Stone and Cup of Trembling for all nations. The Prophetic Word of the Lord is always 100% correct.
Cutting off whose funding? NATO?
Good list - saving
Agree. Cut off all, I say again, ALL foreign aid to the countries who voted for the resolution.
TANGO SIERRA!

More winning.
See post #37.
Cutting off the aid the countries who didn’t stand with America.
