We also have to deal with the idiotic mandates for services that must be covered by insurance companies. So the mandate is gone, but someone who wants to buy a low-cost insurance plan with limits on coverage still won’t be able to do so because insurers aren’t allowed to offer them.

I didn't realize that insurance companies still couldn't offer alternative health insurance. That doesn't sound Constitutional.

What this might lead to is going back to low-cost or no-cost alternatives. People taking responsibility for their own well being are going to notice how the money is being spent. Who knows? Some might even live a healthier life style when it's their money on the line.
