Chapelle needs to understand that if wants to remain a member in good standing of the liberal plantation, he should abide by plantation rules and plantation speech codes. Otherwise he will get Uncle Tomed pretty quick.

Chapelle himself should know this as it’s how he got away with his racial humor. Comedy Central told other comedians not to do racial humor because that’s what Chappelle was there for. Likewise, they only want LGBT to do gay jokes. Women to do gender jokes. Etc etc.
He’s being slammed for exiting his approved lane. I’m glad for him realizing it but it would have been nice for him to speak up when he was benefiting from it.
One of the funniest men placed on this planet. His courage to take on ANYTHING, yes, ANYTHING, gives him quite the edge over other comedians. He is humor with no seatbelts.

He did a skit where he and Chris Rock were watching the election results come in over the evening with a bunch of lefty white people. Over the evening they became more and more depressed, and he would comment on the situation.

Chappelle got my respect during the GWB years when he responded to a question as to why he didn’t criticize Bush. He said, “I have too much respect for the office of the presidency to attack the holder of the office publicly.” He gets major props from me for that.

This sort of humor used to be a societal “safety valve” from which everyone benefitted, but now political correctness has welded most of the safety valves closed. That’s the quickest way to see that political correctness is indeed a product of the Marxist Left - only Communists are so mirthless.
