To Freepers with children and grandchidren - be on the lookout for an amazing summer day camp that is sponsored by the Cathy family. It is called WinShape, and is held in churches around the country. The camp travels around the country and is staffed by wonderful college kids, much like the type you would find working at a Chik-Fil-A restaurant. The cost is something like $200 for the week and runs from 8 am - 5pm. My son loves this camp and I cannot say enough good things about it.
I was just thinking the same think. Unfortunately I live and work about 10 mi from the nearest one. However, I'm taking Friday off so maybe lunch Friday...

I try my best to never eat at fast food anything.
I also do my best to not eat chicken.
I think i may just eat at a Chick Fil A to support em.

Yup. That’s real Christian response. Although the company is closed on Sunday for a good reason, when a serious problem arose, the owner acted in a true manner imitating his Savior.
Jesus reprimanded the pharisees who complained when He healed the sick on Sunday. Love your neighbor is a Christian virtue ranking only below Love your God with your whole mind and whole heart.

If they had any principles, they’d refuse to eat it. We shall see. Interesting to know if any of ‘em turned it down.

It’s not like they jumped in and said they would do this just to make a good show. The Atlanta mayor called THEM and asked for help.

I wonder if the flyers who boycotted Chick-fil-A declined the food.
It’s not often I’m fortunate enough to eat at Chick-fil-A.
But when I do, it’s the Grilled Chicken sandwich on multi-grain bun, 4 strips on the side with wing sauce and a large Fruit Punch (trying to cut down on dark colas these days - unless I do my grilled cheese diet for a couple weeks - then it’s Coke Classic).
I’m sure the Libs in the airport turned down their food, too!

Chick Fil A is good but the one that that would make them great again would be to bring back their cole slaw instead of that lousy kale salad.
I’m vegetarian, but I would make an exception for the good folks at Chick-fil-A.
The owner of the local Chick-Fil-A gave my son a $1000 for college. My son entered the Chick-Fil-A scholar ship contest but didn’t win so the owner wrote him a check from his own account!
Those nuggets are probably good with anything, or nothing at all. But they're best with the Chick-Fil-a sauce...my goodness, that stuff is like crack!
No mistake on my part I believe in the word.
OK, the cravings were satisfied today. The cute young cashier even smiled and wished me a Merry Christmas -- Not Happy Holidays, or Season's Greetings, or Blessed Kwanzaa, but Merry Christmas!
