Russian President Vladimir Putin phoned President Trump to thank him for information from the CIA that foiled a terrorist attack being planned in St. Petersburg, the Kremlin said.

Our president at that time believed that "the United States can absorb another terror attack." He said that in 2010, the Boston attack happened in 2013.
He said that knowing very well that the flesh and blood, the limbs, the head, the faces that would "absorb" the energy of that attack would not belong to himself, or to members of his family. He knew that it would most likely be white people who would be the absorbers, the fodder, the shrapnel-stoppers.
And if I remember correctly, it was about the same time as the Russian Adoption Matter was going on and Obama told Putin to go to hell on that matter also.

That's just fine, Russian authorities have passed anti terrorist intelligence to the US several times. Sometimes US authorities acted on it to prevent attacks and sometimes they failed to act.
Security conscious Nation States cooperating to preempt Terrorist attacks is a good thing, and good manners doesn't hurt.

True. Ever look at his Twitter page? I did some months ago. I was stunned by how pointed he was in his bias against Trump. How can he claim (does he claim) to be objective??? He also was a complete jerk in his election night coverage.
