..."It is not possible to take seriously the allegations and accusations made by a mentality which massacred thousands of Palestinians, turned the lands of the Palestinians into an open-air prison, in order to suppress its guilt," Erdogan's spokesperson Ibrahim Kal?n said... Israel disregards international law, has "occupied Palestinian people's hundreds-of-years-old homeland and systematically violates United Nations resolutions," ...adding that Israel "must first account for its own actions."
"Those, who think they will make Al-Quds, our first Qibla, the capital of the occupying state, are wasting their time. Israeli authorities should end the occupation of Palestinian lands instead of attacking our country and our leader. The Republic of Turkey will continue to stand by what is right, the law and the oppressed in Palestine as it does across the world."
The statement referred to Jerusalem as the original Qibla -- the direction in which Muslims turned in prayer for 13 years before reorienting it to Mecca.
Earlier on Sunday, during a press conference with French President Emmanuel Macron, Netanyahu said Turkey's president was a brutal dictator who supports Palestinian terrorist groups in their efforts to "kill innocent people."
"I am not used to receiving lectures about morality from a leader who bombs Kurdish villagers in his native Turkey, who jails journalists, who helps Iran get around international sanctions, and who helps terrorists, including in Gaza, kill innocent people," said Netanyahu...
Netanyahu's comments were themselves a response to Erdogan who vowed to use "all means to fight" against the US recognition of Jerusalem as the country's capital.
"Palestine is an innocent victim... As for Israel, it is a terrorist state, yes, terrorist!" Erdogan said. "We will not abandon Jerusalem to the mercy of a state that kills children."

G'night all.
This Turkish dude is a real POS.
He's a skid mark. Sadly, he's the top of the downward spiral that is all Turkey will be able to manage from now on. i suspect he'll last another 20 years, short of his own untimely death -- he can't be replaced any longer -- by which time Turkey will be in the same shape as Albania, at best, and Zimbabwe at worst (and probably nearer the latter than the former).
btw, Abbas’ hopes of reconciliation and continued unelected despotism are gone.

I was there while I was in the USAF. I thought it was the arm pit of the world, and that was on a good day. I hated the place.
Mountains? Black Sea? I’ve not heard any encouragement to visit either.
why does the mass media bother always publishing and repeating the insane ravings of these hate-filled Muslim lunatics?
its always the same story anyway
boring...boring....boring
I was at the arm pit of the arm pit. The Lik.
Same as most Turks. They conveniently forget the part where they massacred one and a half million Armenians. Yes, Turks killed 1-1/2 million Armenians. Forced them to the sea and butchered them. Israel did not massacre people, certainly not Palestinians, it is a fiction this Turk invented. But it is a fact that the Turks massacred more than a million and half peoples.
I hate to break the news to you that the Turks didn’t start over running what is now called Turkey until the 11th and 12th centuries A.D. Over a thousand years after the time of Paul. Tarsus was a Greco Roman hub with a large Jewish population.
Islam lies. Islam is war plan.
I should add that Tarsus predates the Greco Roman world. But it was Roman at the time a young Jew called Saul came into the world
Thank you. Paul was no more a Turk than Jesus was. Paul’s Roman citizenship was very helpful during his ministry. I can think of possibly three times he relied upon it. Of course, his quick death of beheading was granted to Roman citizenry over the long ordeal of a painful crucifixion.
I very much lean to the idea that Turkey will be a major player in the attempted annihilation of Israel. Regarding Tarsus, a large rebellion occurred there against Antiochus IV Ephiphanes. This tyrant was the arch enemy of the Jewish people. There is nothing new under the sun. A new king will arise from the geographical region of western asia, who like Antiochus will claim to be Ephiphanes ie god in the flesh. aka the Antichrist.
Cut me some slack bro. I know. Paul was born in Tarsus, but I am sure he wouldnt have much in common with todays Turks. I was having a little fun. My question would be, when they started over running the place, where did they come from?
“... Israel massacres thousands of Palestinians”
I wish ...
Israel should surround the area known as Palestine and then open one road to Syria and one road to Egypt. Then tell all the ‘Palestinians’ that they have 24 hours to hit the road.
No worries Mark. The Turks are a varied bunch from western border of China to Turkey. Think of a lot of the stans that were part of the Soviet Union. Turkmenistan. Uzbekistan etc. Turkic languages. I think Erdogan would love to be leader of all the turkic language speakers. All 200million of them. Not just the ones in Turkey itself. An Obama buddy too.
