WASHINGTON, DC The U.S.-NATO coalition in Afghanistan has pulverized 25 Taliban labs used to process opium and its deadly heroin derivative, depriving the narco-jihadists of $80 million in illegal drug proceeds in the first three weeks of an unprecedented counternarcotics air campaign.
Since November 20, U.S. troops and their Afghan allies have been targeting the Taliban jihadists opium business in their Helmand stronghold, the top-poppy producing province in Afghanistan.

Too late. Heroin is no longer the drug on the streets. It’s now Fentanyl. And that is just chemicals from China
And the next thing you know is that a slight mutation occured and wheat is also wiped out around the world. The possibility of the unintended consquences is large here since the government is involved. Think mongoose in Hawaii.

Well of course! Professional courtesy extended by our Washington leaders. For all we know, there might be a mutual trade agreement going on between the two parties.
GOD BLESS AMERICA!
(Yes, I was yelling!)
But the taliban were shrewd economists. They had warehouses full of the stuff which multiplied in value as supply was reduced.
The lying statement "the gloves are off" should mean death to growers, not destruction of production.
I’ll be impressed when the supply of heroin actually drops. Far as I know supplies are unaffected so far. If this campaign is effective heroin street prices should skyrocket.
Ratlines drying up is a good thing...
“We had to destroy Afghanistan to save it. And where’s the gratitude?”
I don’t know.
No Blood For Opium!
Interesting why the USA lets Afghanistan produce a single poppy, there are tens of thousands of American citizens dying of overdoses.
Probably using the cash the get back from the EITC to buy their bindles.
All of this could be solved by a nuke strike on DC.
