Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein and Special Counsel Robert Mueller were told in July that two FBI officials working on Mueller's Russia probe had exchanged a number of anti-Trump text messages throughout the 2016 campaign, according to the Justice Department's watchdog.
DOJ Inspector General Michael Horowitz revealed the information one day after Fox News obtained more than 375 of the messages between Peter Strzok and Lisa Page. The messages were published ahead of Rosenstein's Wednesday appearance before the House Judiciary Committee.
Strzok, a former deputy to the assistant director for counterintelligence at the FBI, was fired by Mueller and reassigned to the FBIs human resources division after the exchanges with Page were discovered. Page was briefly on Muellers team, but has since returned to the FBI.

I am not a sessions supporter but I notice of late Trump has not been pinging on him. That could be significant because as set up, the IG reports to the Agency head (sessions) and on serious issues must: Section 5(d) of the Inspector General Act requires the inspectors general to report particularly flagrant problems to Congress through the agency head within seven days via what has become known as a seven-day letter,.
Speaking from experience this is rarely used but it does require the IG be impartial. With the IG at Justice having been appointed under O bama, I wonder if he is. Furthermore, Mr. Recusal may have those reports being reviewed by the Deputy which would be to say the fox and hen house approach is working against anything coming of this without Congress sending in the GAO to get to the bottom of this entire mess. Even then, they do not have the power of initiating a prosecution, they can refer but to whom, TADA the DOJ.
the people who "stink of Trump who shop at Wal-Mart".
“One of my questions is if the first 375 reveal all this hatred, what do the remaining 9,625+ contain?”
Yoga appointments and wedding planning
My guess is that better happen before Jan. 18 when the IG report comes out with 1.2 million pages of documents. I would say it will be pretty much over except screaming then. We are talking a massive conspiracy to take down a sitting US president that covers most branches of government, media and several foreign governments. Government officials were using burner phones and non-government emails, our spy agencies and foreign spy agencies to maneuver around US laws. I do not think people understand how huge this is. Trump was right when he said this election was the last chance to save the US.
OMG, is that ever appropriate!!!
If I knew two people in my workplace were having an affair, I would outright refuse to work with them.
This year over 6,000 human traffickers have been arrested, Afghanistan opium trade had been decimated, M-13 are being rounded up and he has cut off all the government slush funds Dems were using to funnel billions of government money into their coffers to fund their organizations and ground games.
If you are going to war what do you do first?
Sessions has gone after the foot soldiers and the money supply(oops forgot Saudi Arabia and princes arrested). Sessions has stated over and over again in front of congress that he can not comment on ongoing investigations but nobody pays attention and think nothing is being done because there is not instant gratification.
Cases take time to build and guys this is a massive case to build covering multiple agencies and people. Nor can it look like Sessions is the person leading the investigation. You are talking about leaked personal text messages from burner phones.....how do you think that came about if there was not an investigation using intel from a spy agency? We are going to be fed daily drips to get people prepared for some arrests because the MSM has not done their job and it would be to huge a shock to Dems. The fact they have started dripping info out to the public tells you we are getting close to some movement. Probably an arrest here then one there in slow motion.
Thanks for those links. I read the first one and it is very informative.
This also reminded me about the “set-up meeting” that the Russian lawyer Natalia Veselnitskay had with Trump Jr in June 2016. Her visa to enter the US was previously denied, but it was reported that the Obama administration then allowed her to enter without a visa. Who? Why?
My theory is that she was a part of the conspiracy, i.e. possibly the cooked-up probable cause evidence to allow the Obama administration under the color of a FISA warrant to spy on Trump. There is more here than meets the eye...look at how close she came to who would become the President-elect.
FISA was chosen because it is so secretive due to concerns about “national security”, i.e. it won’t be easy to get the details of this crime into the public domain. These conspirators need to be identified and brought to justice. I am glad Mueller is on top of this. /s
Plotting to remove a future sitting president via an insurance policy seems like a crime...
you missed McCabe...
One was the big bosses best friend....who got a nice fat raise which helped his retirement pension big time. Boss was best man.
And behold, the mouse in our office married the secretary 15 years his senior.
I meant to say adulterous affairs. I guess inappropriate ones as well. At a former job there was some shenanigans of a young female engineer and her married supervisor 30 years her senior. I never talked to them, despite walking by them everyday.
The FBI is a f’n petri dish
Love that chart and the fact that it’s growing is good news as more of those involved in sedition (IMO that’s what it is) are exposed.
Page is typical of the caliber of FBI agent; arrogant, but stupid.
Reminds me of a basketball player description; He can’t shoot, but he’s slow.
The corruption and polarization in the FBI is worse than I imagined. The FBI is a cancer. <<
along with the CIA...Justice Dept and the IRS...and God only knows who else......
It truly is a “Cold Civil War”....
Even if Horowitz initial thoughts were to white wash his investigation like he did Fast and Furious perhaps Mr. Rogers over at NSA suggested something different based on what they had found.
Kind of like “sir, you may want to stop over and take a look at a few things that have surfaced...”
It makes it hard to cover up a conspiracy when you know others have dirt you can’t hide. IMHO self preservation kicks it...Hey they are crooks, I aint going down with them type thinking.
Or he’s back to the original Clinton Defense plan...release a little dirt every week instead of a Dump truck load all at once to lessen the effect of shock to the public. Then trot out the “that’s old news” spew.
These disgusting swamp creatures, including Obama, were willing to declare Russia engaged in what would amount to an act of war by meddling in the US election, and were willing to lay land mines of sanctions for Trump in this false narrative.
Think about it - they were willing to risk grave relations with another nuclear power for the sake of their internal political games and to cover for Hillary and themselves.

Those are both viable alternative views of the IOG probe....
“Time to dissolve the FBI. Its just another form of organized crime.”
Excellent suggestion, if it happens, we are at least 5 decades too late.
