Conservative commentator Tammy Bruce, in a discussion about Alabama Republican candidate for Senate Roy Moore, said the Republican establishment want the party to lose the majority in the Senate so the Trump agenda fails. Bruce cited Sen. Richard Shelby (R-AL), who announced he did not vote for Moore, and Sen. Jeff Flake (R-AZ), who donated to the Democratic candidate Doug Jones, as examples.
"This is a test for the president," Bruce said Tuesday on FOX News' Hannity. "I think what you've seen with Shelby going against it. Jeff Flake, giving money to this guy. I think the Republicans in the Senate want to lose the Senate. I think they want the president's agenda to fail and the only way to really achieve that is to suddenly become the minority."

“I think they want the president’s agenda to fail and the only way to really achieve that is to suddenly become the minority.”
Yep. However, We The People have President Trump’s back. So, let’s hope that the GOPe and the RINOS NEVER figure that out!
What a bunch of b@stards! Love my Country; Loathe my Government! Grrrr!
Honestly most of us around here have known this all along. It's just becoming real, as some say, now that Mitch the Bitch has thrown two Senate seats to Chuckie.
The other being the Mississippi seat that our good buddy Haley Barbour f'd up for him.
Patriots are reminded that the states could repeal the 16th and 17th Amendments yesterday if they wanted to, to resolve major constitutional problems the deep state Senate, problems like unconstitutional taxes and likewise unconstitutional interference in state affairs.
Congress is not empowered to tax for those purposes which are within the exclusive province of the States. Justice John Marshall, Gibbons v. Ogden, 1824.
"State inspection laws, health laws, and laws for regulating the internal commerce of a State, and those which respect turnpike roads, ferries, &c. are not within the power granted to Congress [emphases added]." Gibbons v. Ogden, 1824.
From the accepted doctrine that the United States is a government of delegated powers, it follows that those not expressly granted, or reasonably to be implied from such as are conferred, are reserved to the states, or to the people. To forestall any suggestion to the contrary, the Tenth Amendment was adopted. The same proposition, otherwise stated, is that powers not granted are prohibited [emphasis added]. United States v. Butler, 1936.
"The smart crooks long ago figured out that getting themselves elected to federal office to make unconstitutional tax laws to fill their pockets is a much easier way to make a living than robbing banks." me
"Federal career lawmakers probably laugh all the way to the bank to deposit bribes for putting loopholes for the rich and corporations in tax appropriations laws, Congress actually not having the express constitutional authority to make most laws where domestic policy is concerned. Such laws are based on stolen state powers and uniquely associated stolen state revenues." me
Repeal amendment could include term limit and recall provisions.
I think Tammy Bruce is spot on and leaves us with a real dilemma of how to motivate/correct their behavior when they don’t care if they lose and even if they are primariad out they have cushy jobs set by the Uniparty for them. We need something stronger and more immediate; maybe truth squads which would assemble files like the FBI has and let it be known what will happen to them if they work against the voters. Mitch McConnell and his military service would be a prime first candidate.
I plan to show the Republican Party the same loyalty the GOPe showed President Trump in 2016 (Bushes, Romney etc) and Roy Moore (Flake, Shelby, McConnell etc)
Saw that when it happened.
They dont care, they get paid either way.
The GOPe is already doing everything to make Trumps agenda fail. Losing the Senate is what they want so they have an excuse to prevent being primaried. Not going to work anymore Rinos.
So the tax plan is a failure ?
Hammer, meet nail.
Except for that lesbian thing, Tammy is pretty much 100% correct all the time.
It’s all about free trade, unbridled immigration and the continued de industrialization of America. As long as the USA maintains almost nil import tariffs, sky high illegal and legal immigration and the USA continues to close factories then K Street is happy an the globalist are happy.. And that is the purpose of the GOP which is to maintain the status quo on trade and globalism.
Nonsense. They may want Trump to fail, but they sure don’t want to give up their majority perks.
My thoughts too.
Shelby might not like the Judge, but to then have a baby killer, late term, pro homo, pro cross dressing globalist is beyond insane, and for the voters in AL who never came out to vote, or actually voted against Moore due to the lies spread by the establishment is disgusting, and they should be ashamed.
Repubilcan Establishment ARE LOSERS!!! They are AFRAID of LEADING!!! Girls....they are like GIRLS!
Trump should Dump the Republican Party, and ask the so-minded Congressman and Senators to join him. Although only a handful will, at least those will be Patriots, not Globalist Traitors.
why is it? Trump is a Republican, and to state one will never vote for a republican insinuates that person will not vote for Trump.
Saying that there is no frigging way in hell I will vote for another establishment republican, and maybe that is what the poster was trying to say.
I would love for that to happen.
Until the GOPe is completely purged; the republican party is pretty much done.
me too.
